EXCLUSIVE: Imran Khan warns Pakistan’s democracy is at ‘all-time low’

. . . . .
Pakistan doesn't have the calibre of leaders to make this work. It's full of corrupt psychopaths who treat their people like sh*t.
True, that is why I suggest we import senior advisors from China and Taiwan to teach Pakistani civil servants of how to run Pakistan.
Public civil servants, and policy makers.

China was also the same very corrupt - In 1947 it was poor than India but now it's in transition to 1st world. It reduced poverty by over 700M in 20 years... It's a miracle.

Exactly China is a good role model for Pakistan. Both China and Taiwan. New need to copy their economic plans and governance models.

Their leaders and army was loyal. System doesn’t matter if the user is corrupt.
People have to want change and fight for it. Take the right to vote and defend it only then change comes

Import the one state system from China.

If democracy does not work
but isn't that already the case with the military effectively running everything ? :P

When Pakistani people unite behind democracy, no power on earth can trample our democratic values

Diverse countries only work with democracy - we have many races, sects, ethnicities, languages
you lot are an 'India light'

If democracy does not work
It wouldn't work in Pakistan, in China during Mao it is said that China had a serious issue with houseflies, Mao passed an edict that it was the duty of every comrade to kill a fly a day, soon they had eradicated the entire house fly population in China. Another tale not too dissimilar is in the 1994 Chinese movie "To Live" in which a little boy called Little Bun, he has a treasured set of lead puppets which he enjoys playing with, the family lose their fortune and have to live in a miserable existence, Little Bun takes great pleasure in playing with his lead puppets.

One day the People's Army marches into the village and demands donation of lead and metals for the production of arms and bullets, people reluctantly donate what they can from their meagre belongings of pots and pans, Little Bun moved by his Grandfather's teachings of Mao and the red book, walks up to the soldier's and hands over his cherished lead puppets saying "Here take these". The Soldiers smile and say, but these wont make more than 1 bullet, and he simply replies "but maybe this one bullet will win the war".

This is the determination that makes a nation great. We sadly don't have that, what we need right now is to revert back to the teachings of Quaid "Unity, Faith, Discipline". These three words should be the motto of every Pakistani to live by, with Unity, everything is possible.

The only time I have seen such level of Unity was during the Kargil war and the 2005 earthquake, when women and children literally donated their clothes and toys. Every day on Radio Pakistan at 5am we would wake to hear this famous naghma play and raise our spirits:

Pakistan needs to go back to basics and hold true to this dua:

Yes, but China can teach us governing techniques and poverty reduction methods.

By the way: It is Faith, Unity, and Discipline.
