Ex-DG ISPR Gen. AsifGhafoor (Designate GOC 40 Div) met an accident on motorway near Sargodha. Gen sahab and his wife are Alhumdullilah safe as the car was under speed limit.

A major general in Pakistan is not that much rich. Probably a vehicle of army , military intelligence with a civil no plate used by high ranked army officials. My neighbor is a serving major in some army branch even he use a civil no plate Prado given to him with a army driver.

He is now a Div commander under a strike corps. He has not been sidelined but given an important position. If he was on some "target list" then the last thing they would do is make him a div commander again.


If modi somehow starts a war in next 1 year then his infantry division will be the one of the first units to make a move into Indian territory with the 1st armour division.
