Evil IDF helps save Arab kids lives, yet again

From COGAT:

Last Thursday (28.11.13) a party was held for Israeli and Palestinian children who underwent cardiac surgery and catheterization at the Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital. The party was held at the hospital and was organized by the "Heart for Peace" Foundation in coordination with the Civil Administration. Children and their families attended the day with the medical team that accompanied them along the way, representatives of the "Heart for Peace” Foundation, and Staff Health Officer of the Civil Administration, Ms. Dalia Bassa.

The children enjoyed a variety of activities and prizes such as face painting, puppet balloons made for them by the entertaining clown, a variety of creative activities and group games. After they enjoyed playing with each other, a lunch meal was held for all children and their families and medical staff. The day was designed to bring together Israeli and Palestinian families who were in constant touch during the children's treatment, and continue the regular monitoring of their children even when their health is excellent.

Later in the day, a meeting was held between Dalia Bassa and Ali Abohdr – a Palestinian Dalia knows through their joint work with the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Today, Ali is a grandfather to many grandchildren, one of whom was born with a heart defect and underwent three heart surgeries at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. "In my work at the Ministry of Health, I worked with Dalia many times to save lives," said Ali, "I am happy that when my grandson was in need of medical care, Dalia did everything to save his life and provide the best medical care.”

The "Heart for Peace" Foundation is a French non-profit organization that helps Palestinian children with congenital heart defects get the surgery that would otherwise be unavailable to them in the Palestinian Territories. The organization finances surgeries at the hospital and works in coordination with the Health Office in the Civil Administration. Thanks to their work, more than 530 Palestinian children underwent life saving heart surgery in recent years. At least once a week a Palestinian child receives heart surgery at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

Let's work out the formula again:

Israel helping Arabs is good hasbara.

Hasbara is evil.

Therefore, Israel helping Arab kids is evil.

And if the kids end up not hating Israel, it is catastrophic.

I think that's the way the Israel-haters' logic goes, whether it is explicit or not.

Yep the first two are from 2008 Beijing.

I threw in the third picture for the lolz, it's actually from Guangzhou 2010. :D

LOL, I remember that. How strange. Yes I could read that it said Guangzhou on the last picture in the background if you zoom in.

So when will we see another military parade from China or "hell march"?:D

Hahaha great video, I love the combination of the Red Alert Music and the marches. :P

Unfortunately having the biggest army in the world doesn't mean having the strongest army in the world (gotta count all the tech platforms as well), but it's a talking point at least.

And did you know, the first line in our national anthem is "qian jin! qian jin!" which means "forward march! forward march!"

That's a relic from the old days, though pretty interesting still. :D

You are falling for off-topic comments again, Dragon. Don't you wonder why some commenters do everything they can to pull threads off their original topic?

Just typed "hell march and China" on Youtube. Actually I only watched the first 3-4 minutes of the video I posted but it was good.:D

Yes, I am very well aware of that. USA is still the most powerful army by a significant length but I think that this will change in the next few decades if not sooner. Nothing lasts forever and their hegemony is getting smaller for each year. I think that China will be the natural successor although you never know what can happen.

That is interesting. How much does the current national anthem differ from the imperial anthem when China was still an empire ruled by an emperor?

@Solomon2 this thread does not interest me the slightest. I just love the way that you try to come across as a objective user while only using Zionist newspapers and sources. You can keep discussing this thread for the next 2 years if you want. Not going to stop you. I just commented on a post that Chinese-Dragon wrote. That was all.

Besides you have still not answered my question.

Come on buddy, you know off-topic comments are at least "bumping" the thread so it will stay on the top of the boards, so it's not a bad thing. :P

Our current anthem is a bit militaristic, that's because at the time of the PRC's founding in 1949, we were in the midst of our "Century of Humiliation", after being decimated and destroyed by both the Westerners and the Japanese, then our own people in a brutal Civil War. It was an anthem born in the midst of multiple simultaneous wars, so it's not that similar to the old anthems.

As for replacing America, I don't think any Chinese person wants that. We just want to be recognized as a sovereign nation that is powerful enough to take care of our own interests.

Well, thank you for telling me that. I am aware of the crimes against humanity that the Japanese did which has led to a big animosity between Chinese and Japanese people. Can you tell me if such an animosity existed before Imperial Japan became all militaristic in the late 1920's?

I am less informed by the role of the West. What did they do in China? I know about the civil war but also not in detail. Have to read more about those two topics.

Well, you are already doing a great job to be able to do just that. In fact I would say that you are second to none after the USA.

What were the old national anthems about then?:D
