Even RAW Station Head is Stunned by BD Elections and its Outcome

.

Like seriously. Yeah you had to rig the elections but at least shouldn't rig it in a manner that even RAW officials are surprised.

Even hardcore awami supporter are feeling shame for such rigging. Election commission saying 80% turn out which is surprising . In some polling center more votes we're castes then total votar number .

All the opposition was thrown in prison under politically motivated charges.

What happened actually if anyone goes for campaign govt supporter beat them and handed over to police and police arrest them for fakes cases .

. .
Is this true?

at least 43 candidates of the opposition coalition Jatiya Oikya Front were attacked, 13 candidates seriously injured, and 17 opposition candidates arrested.

yes its true . many candidate were beaten election campaigner were harassed or arrested by police .even one of the top leader and candidate of opposition were shot by police

. .
why would anyone rig an election when the main opposition party boycotts the polls ?
Main opposition is BNP who is leading oikkofront.
So they did not boycott this time . But now only got 8 seats in this election and that is unbelievable.

.
A couple days ago I was talking to one of our Bengali friends here on PDF. he accused IK of rigging election and claimed that the fact that IK won (a minority government) is proof of rigging.

Well.. lady won 96% of the vote...I suppose there is definitely no rigging here

BTW it is impossible for any part to win 96% of the vote in an actual democracy.

Truth be told, majority of BD'shis want the stability of AL rule.
Soon this whole election will be forgotten and things will be back to normal.

This is an internal matter for Bangladesh.

In Canada we have a saying
"Peeing in your pants in the winter to stay warm"

Short term this might be a good thing, but long term it's going to be a disaster.

Pakistan made the same deal with dictatorship.
Short term they gave us stability and high GDP, but long term, they have been a disaster.

When did any dictatorship give Pakistan good and sustained GDP growth?

Musharraf only managed 3% average per capita growth when he was in power and that was mainly due to debt forgiveness and aid due to the fact that he joined the "War on Terror".

BD is totally different as it has spent many decades over successive administrations building up, and is using mainly it's own internal resources to grow. It's growth is predicted to be a stable near 7% per capita average over the next 5 years.

Look at where the likes of Taiwan and S Korea are now. This is the model that BD looks to be following.

Pakistani GDP has always been high under dictatorship, that's why even today some! Pakistanis want it back.

And yes, I appreciate your GDP growth, just that it's not a good idea to sacrifice democracy fby chasing GDP.

3.5% per capita a year was the highest average decade growth you managed in the 1980s, and remember then you got literally billions of US dollars from the US due to Afghan war at the time.
This idea that dictatorships delivered high economic growth just because is nonsense as they always got a helping hand when they were in power from US.

Like I say BD is following Taiwan and S Korea and much rather follow them than a country like India.

Okay so you clearly don't know what your talking about.
