Some of the images show full cover of the body with a shawl. That is equal to a burqa. And the burqa is not Islamic at all but something from a Jewish sect.

She added that this part of Jewish law became entrenched in pre-Islamic Arab tribes of the Arabian Peninsula and then spread throughout the Middle East with the Muslim conquests.

The verse the lawmaker could be referring to is Genesis 38, where a biblical figure encounters his daughter-in-law in the street and mistakes her for a prostitute because she had covered her face with a veil.

My dad lives in a large victorian house built about 1850. In the basement it has pantry, food delivery hatches and gas lamps where the servants will have lived. There is a outhouse which according to deeds was for horse carriage. Clearly a wealthy white English snob lived there when house was built. If he came back alive he would get a heart attack seeing bunch of coloured colonial subjects living in his mansion. Fact is we don't want the world that existed in Britain 100 years ago. We the minorities would get fcuked .... into third class untouchables below even the white working class trash. So please shove the Victorian era ......

Yes, it was against cold and NOT driven by religion. Houses were cold and damp, life was hard so clothing reflected that. It's likw in old days most men had beards, that was purely because lack of shaving machines, disposable blades. Get a bunch of guys and leave them in the wilderness for few months minus modern goods and see what they will look like. Beards up to their balls and wearing rags with sheets. Basically all looking like Pakistani mullahs ....

What people like EDL don't understand is in the 'good old days' much as they regardedd non whites as primitive animals they regarded their working class as trash and treated them as such. Made them work until they dropped dead, worked their children in mills, made their wifes work as maids and used them to their convenience. This is the 'good old days' ....

There might have been some aspect of religion but by and large the working class or in British inner cities life was hard. Drink, prostitution and other 'sins' were rife. Every city supported huge red light districts and pubs were on every street corner. A place where they went to escape the reality of a short, harsh life.

not getting into details, but what I do know that w.r.t to the Quran, Hadith and Islamic History, this act is completely un-Islamic and is an act of Mullahs to keep the Muslims in the dark ages
