How did he allow India to completely fall victim to that second wave of Covid ? Instead of stock pilling vital equipment / medicine / vaccines, he sold it all to the west for cheap to try and compete with China's vaccine diplomacy.
When the second wave began decimating India, he had to beg the west to give back a fraction of what he had sold off for peanuts.
Instead of encouraging people to get vaccinated, wear masks, keeping some restrictions in place, banning mass gatherings, he encouraged mass political rallies, large festivities without a care in the world.
When the second wave reached a critical mass, the government was nowhere to be found. Hospitals had no staff and locked their doors, ambulances were unavailable, people had to carry dead bodies in minivans. No oxygen or help available. The government was basically missing in action.
Human rights groups say that millions died, but according to India, only 400,000. I feel sorry for the people of India. Their government is corrupt, incompetent and they are complete imbeciles with no common sense.
