Eidul Fitr to be celebrated in KP on Tuesday, provincial govt announces

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has declared Tuesday (tomorrow) as the first day of Eidul Fitr for the sake of "harmony", provincial Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai announced.

He said more than 112 evidences of moon-sighting were received by Peshawar's Masjid Qasim Ali Khan — where Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai had already declared that Eid would begin on Tuesday — and the KP government itself received moon-sighting testimonies from different areas.

"It is Chief Minister Mahmood Khan's desire that Eid is celebrated across the province on the same day and there should be an expression of unity with the entire province," Yousafzai said.

Eidul Fitr in the rest of Pakistan is expected to fall on Wednesday but is subject to moon-sighting.

The final date will be announced by the Ruet-i-Hilal committee when it convenes tomorrow.

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have declared Tuesday as the first day of Eidul Fitr as well, according to Gulf News.

Indonesia and Malaysia will celebrate the first day of Eid on Wednesday while Iraq also declared Tuesday as the festival's first day, the publication added.

Eidul Fitr celebrations mark the culmination of the Holy month of Ramazan during which Muslims all over the world observe 30 days of fasting.

Just a few things to ponder upon:

Where are those people who mocked Pakistan Ruet Hilal committe for causing controversy by not agreeing to 1 Eid. I advice you to check Pakistan previous decisions on Eid and Ramadan announcements. They have always been correct.
This proves Pakistan Ruet Hilal committe was not at fault if some jahil people keep ignoring their decisions. But what those people did was on purpose make different decisions than the official announcements in order to make some noise and then use their links to give a bad name to the official body.

Now the official body is dissolved. So who is jahil and causing fitna and controversy?

Fawad chaudhary the secular?
Who is responsible for 2 Eids? Fawad Chaudhary?

The truth is we Pakistanis can be very gullible and certain people misguide us. Be it people with beards and be it secular mindset.
The secularist mocked Pakistan Ruet Hilal committe for the controversy whilst they didn't share that majority Pakistanis followed them and it is only some minority causing problems.

Then Fawad used this to mock Alims and made his own scientific committe. But again we have gone back to stage one. 2 Eids.

The people who do one Eid before all Pakistan will never change their opinion because their loyalty belongs to Saudi Arabia. Nothing to do with Islam

Mufti M Rehman will celebrate on Wednesday as per Pakistan government announcement. We have been mocking and blaming Mufti M Rehman for this problem and for 2 Eids but who are we going to blame and mock now.

What Pakistani Ruet Hilal committe used to do was at first look at the Moon sighting map and see the visibility change. They knew which day Eid will be just like Fawad calendar says so. But still they used to double check to confirm with physical eye sighting. Most Pakistanis misunderstood this due to media propaganda.

We should check all Eid and Ramadan dates announcement by Ruet Hilal committed. They will all be accurate according to Fawad Calendar.

In u.k there is mostly cloudy weather so moon cannot be sighted there but in other parts of saudia other than Makkah moon is sighted
