he made a promise to IDPs that he will celebrate eid with them... today weather was totally wrong for flight, yet he took the risk despite against several advises no to fly to Bannu, yet he made it to the IDPs, couldnt say prayers as he got delayed, but he said it there that I have fulfilled my commitment to you for being there on Eid.

If majority of people are on a wrong path, it doesn't make it right. Imran Khan should have been standing on principle, not giving credibility to defying the writ of the state by refusing to celebrate Eid with the rest of the nation officially. He should have gone tomorrow when the rest of the country will be celebrating the occasion after actually sighting the moon and delivered a silent message. Armstrong, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda! Lets see when it happens, its been 60+ effing years for speaking out loud.

We have never celebrated eid on the same day as other regions of the nation, we have always celebrated on day before, we are not about to change that and nor is it challenging the writ of the state.

If rest of the nation wants to celebrate eid with us then they are more then welcome to celebrate it on the day we do, we have always followed the same system, if you wish to celebrate on another day then unfortunately we will not and there is no compromise.

If us following our time tested system of eid celebration feels like the challenge to the states writ then be it.
