EID with IDPs

Everyone bashed IK when he refused to visit IDPs with Prime Minister just for photo shots in fake IDP camps. And few people still bash IK when he spends his Eid with these IDPs.

Moral of the Story: No matter what IK will do, people will keep bashing him.

if one can't see the photo session and the political stunt, i don't know what kind of brains you have, IDPs are living in miserable conditions, in camps and and in millions, this guy does what? calls IDPs to one place and have eid lunch? he should have visited the IDPs in their camps and in dirty places they are living not in some booked hall

Why exactly did the "national leader" choose to celebrate Eid a day before the rest of the country celebrates it? It sets a wrong precedent to proceed in this manner, gives more legitimacy to Mullahs and their naive followers seeing the moon, when no moon can possible be seen. Could have waited a day to send the message that he's with the rest of the country celebrating Eid after there's a moon sighting.

How was he supposed to tell a socially conservative group of people that this year you're not going to be celebrating Eid with KSA as you have for as long as one can remember - Who would listen to him anyhow ?

Toooo koi nahin its a social constraint which shouldn't be there but it is anyhow - Maybe Education both their & the rest of our country would make people realize that mankind invented a field of study called 'Astronomy' a long time ago & its high time that the 'lunar calender' ought to be determined by Men of Science & not the so-called Men of the Cloth living a couple of centuries in the past !

Imran Khan should have been standing on principle, not giving credibility to defying the writ of the state by refusing to celebrate Eid with the rest of the nation officially. He should have gone tomorrow when the rest of the country will be celebrating the occasion after actually sighting the moon and delivered a silent message. Armstrong, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda! Lets see when it happens, its been 60+ effing years for speaking out loud.

Unfortunately a heavy handed approach or even an indifferent approach would've have made him appear as an outsider which would've meant that whatever changes they are wanting or gonna bring over there would've had lost popular support - This change needs to come from the inside !
