Egypt's oil minister makes rare trip to Iran for oil talks after Saudi suspension

Who is lying? First post news or that what hinduguy did post?

Likely no one is lying but plans changed due to pressures,
"But two security sources and a source in Molla’s delegation said the minister had been scheduled to go though the low-key visit was now likely to be delayed after the news became public."

I must say i've no idea, I don't follow oil news much

I do remember the Iraq-Jordan pipeline existed since the monarchy time of Iraq, but they recently built another one (unless they just announced building one).
So what your take on the topic? As far as i have understood the oil was free for Egypt why did they decide to go for Iraq?

Not free, but partially on credit, I thought from the article.

Egypt didn't decide, Egypt was looking and Iraq offered. Probably something political

Which company is operating exploration and extraction of Iraq's oil?

SOMO is that state company that regulates it all

exploration and extraction, often by Chinese/Russian or so companies, but again.. I know nothing about oil.

So whats happening between Saudi Arabia and Egypt?

Aramco Stops Oil Product Shipments To Egypt
Well the Egyptian and saidi officials keep saying that there is nothing and that saudia arabia are having some financial trouble and that is the reason but you know it's all about Syria and how egypt is not following the Saudi policy.
Anyway egypt is currently getting crud oil from Libya and Iraq to process and sell the left overs.

Which company is operating exploration and extraction of Iraq's oil?
There is a company being currently formed by both government the Egyptian and iraqi that would do that.

When was this one built?

a section of the 1,040-mile pipeline from Basra to Jordanian Red Sea port of Aqaba.

Iraq will start operating its third offshore export facility for crude by the end of the year and plans to upgrade its two onshore terminals at Basra and Khor al-Amaya, Khalaf said. The government is building 16 crude-storage tanks in the southern port of al-Faw, each with a capacity of 58,000 cubic feet. Four are operational, another four are to be completed by the end of July and the rest by year-end, he said.

Iraq and Jordan signed a preliminary agreement in April to build the section of the pipeline that would stretch from an Iraqi oil pumping station in Haditha, west of Iraq, to Aqaba. The rest of the pipeline, which is 680 kilometers long, linking a Basra pumping station with the one in Haditha would be built and financed by the Iraqi oil ministry.

Citigroup, a U.S. lender scaling back in some emerging markets, plans to open offices and branches in Iraq to benefit from an estimated $1 trillion of infrastructure spending there, Mayank Malik, the bank’s chief executive officer for Jordan, Iraq, Syria and the Palestinian territories

The Basra-Aqaba oil pipeline, which is expected to be operational late in 2017, will provide Jordan with 150,000 barrels of- oil per day, while the rest will be exported through Aqaba, generating an estimated $3 billion a year in revenues for the Kingdom.

From Aqaba , Oil will be transferred to Egypt and from there to Suez Canal and then the oil will be supplied into European markets by the Arabs.

Arabs and Hindi's are not good people but they are being just disrespected by the civilized European nations.:hitwall::hitwall:

I'm really doubtful anyway I hope that's true and we have the first Muslim company that operates those hard High-Tech oil utilization processes on it's own.
Exploration and excavation of oil on land isn't that difficult especially in a country like Iraq where you are guaranteed to find oil where ever you dig.
