the essential is the news of value we post, and our positive contribution to the forum

100% on the money, my friend. Keep up the good work and we do notice your amazing contributions on this forum, believe me, and especially in the Middle East and Arab sections.

Hopefully this thread will get moderated appropriately and get back on topic with positive interaction.

One of the more interesting cities they're building besides the new Cairo is Jabal Al Jalalah on the Red Sea coast. Amazing how many projects and the magnitudes of them that are going on at once.

@Berkant @TurkeyForever , guys lets not troll and insult and get less involved in this thread that is about Egypt and not Turkey after all. Let them people show to the world some of the things that are happening in Egypt.

Plus many of the Turkish projects shown by Berkant are much more optimistic than needed and many of them are not even in a planning stage or still far away from completion for you to show how great they are. Some of the articles shown by you show optimistic targets and not finished results. Turkey and it’s people should work harder and talk less to achieve their goals.

Nice concepts.. but Egypt is actually working on its projects..not just concepts. they are beyond that...And to correct your flawed knowledge about construction projects standards..Egypt has some of the best civil Engineers out there.. I personally knew an Egyptian professor in Ottawa who has invented many road machinery being used all over Canada and Northern USA.. on top of inventing new concrete highways and participating in many important structural projects all over the p;ace.. And the thing is..he got his degrees in Egypt before coming here to teach at the University..
And..not to make jealous or anything like that.. Egypt has found the biggest NG field in the Eastern Mediterranean sea with others as huge being explored.. Egypt has not even started to tap its money from natural resources.. yet..

Who cares about natural resources, Turkey is doing better than those countries rich in natural resources. Natural resource is like winning the lottery, it doesn't guarantee long term success.

We are talking about Egypt in the last 3 years not the last 20 years like Turkey..

That is what people are saying about Turkey.. When they go as tourists, they do not want to mix with Turks.. So you are trying to reverse that.. get out of your hole and go visit Europe or ask your friends or family who live there to tell you the truth..too bad!

Deal just with Greece.. Arabs are too much for you..or are you counting on NATO!?

Egypt has almost no Oil..go educate yourself before posting idiocies..

At least 1 out of 5 europeans have been to Turkey and majority of these loved Turkey. How many of them have been to arab countries?

Your goat is waiting...

I read new population statistics yesterday, Istanbul now has over 15 million people.

Investment opportunities include mining, mineral resources, leather exploitation, canning, food processing, livestock, agro-processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, engineering, electronics, metallurgical and logistics. The investment map is distributed in governorates as well as technological and industrial centers.

One of the very cool projects is a German/Egyptian coop for forestation, which as strange as that might sound are not arboreal regions in Egypt. Some of the species they're bringing in are actually European trees that tend to grow in rather cooler climates but they are experimenting with them to create beautiful forests and parks. I think @mahatir had posted the link and pics of that on the Egyptian Development thread. Some very cool stuff which shows interest in many varieties of new types of projects and things being introduced to Egypt.

Efforts on improving infrastructure to help with all these improvements.

Minister of Transport: completion of the Koqy bridge above the railway in the Governorate of Quena next March as 10 new top bridges are being implemented in the Upper Egypt and Delta at a cost of 1.4 billion Egyptian pounds of which the most important are the bridges of QRR, JGA and Plona and 5 bridges on Banha Road – Aga – Mansoura to reduce accidents.

Do we need a pissing contest?
The more countries in ME and NA develop the better for Turkish economy since half of Turkish exports go to those countries, and many construction projects in those countries are being done by Turkish firms.

@The Eagle @Horus @Zaki @Jungibaaz

The same two Turkish trolls are polluting (trolling in other words) almost every Arab-related thread with tons of nonsense that no Arab is interested in. This thread is about Egypt and only posts about Egypt or related to the discussion of the topic should be allowed. This is a informative thread intended for informative discussions and it is fair to say that is has been hijacked/derailed heavily.

I don't see Arab users suddenly talking about how the GCC has sovereign wealth funds worth almost 3 trillion USD, the by far largest economic bloc in the MENA/Muslim world with the by far highest living standards, how we are some of the most debt free countries on the planet, how we have building projects (in KSA) worth almost 1 trillion USD alone, how huge the potential is for Arab countries due to resources and future populations etc. in threads related to Turkey, Iran or other countries.

Please do something about this annoying habit.

Thanks in advance.

This thread was going great until the Turkish trolls decided to rear their ugly heads and ruin it. @The SC @Gomig-21 , please don't feed the trolls and keep adding more to the thread, hopefully the mods will deal with them soon.

On a much less serious note, please enjoy this timeless Egyptian cinema classic parodying Turks who can't get over the fact that their empire no longer exists. This is how we view them .

Happy Saturday night, don't try to take anything seriously tonight, I sure am not intending to. And don't forget about the super bowl tomorrow @Gomig-21 .

There is a whole new city called "New Cairo" being built..worth more than a $100 billion on its own..
But that is not the point here.. the Turkish projects are very interesting..Why you do not open a thread about them.. I'll be glad to visit the thread and even contribute positively to it.. either by encouragements or by posting about other new Turkish projects,, but believe me.. I won't post about other nations projects.. you just open a new thread to discuss them..So i think this is done on purpose to derail threads not concerning Turkey.. there is nothing to gain in this..

And all Turkish people love Arabs. Oh my. and this is how they view us?

We have a saying in Turkish "Turks only friend is an Arab from Egypt"

Good luck
And your compatriots still insult that only friend!! too bad for them..

Here is a thread you should visit.. but it is not even 10% of the projects going on in Egypt right now..due to the low number of Egyptians and Arabs on this Forum..but it might give you an idea of the scope of the projects..

Well regading getting over it, it was the Turks themselves who got rid of the last remnants of the Empire and radically changed the country, changing script and even bringing the language back to its roots by replacing many Arabic words by Turkish equivalents, the country has been basically rebuilt from scratch, Turks got over it pretty good dont mind the history ignorants who cry for the past.
