Economic crippling..something to think abt?

Just spend a minute to think abt this.India is economically betterr off than us(hope u all agree).As of now the IAF ,and the indian military as well is spending an insane amount of money in military purchases.Apart from just trying to prove its military strength i feel they may be playing a more subtle game here.They are trying to force pakistan to spend more and more on defense,and neglect other matters such as education ,industry and poverty.Pakistan's economy is not as strong as Inida and in order to match the capabilities of the Indian military, pakistan will have to counter spend a good amount on its own military purchases.This might indeed be a subtle Indian plan to force Pak to spend heavily on defense and ultimately economically cripple us.

Pakistani government has planned it out, the budget is stable with the Military modernization still in progress. However, obviously as the economy gets bigger and bigger the less it will effect the military purchases.

The theory that Indian planners are possibly doing this, is substantially wrong. They have to meet their own defence needs like we have to, plus if you want to call them idiots or what, but they are competing with the Chinese.

Correct! India keeps the Chinese in mind when planning defense.
