RAWALPINDI: Rescue and relief operations continue in the earthquake affected areas of Balochistan conducted by Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps personnel, army sources said on Thursday.

So far 23 wounded persons have been evacuated from Mashkel to Quetta and Dalbandin by Army helicopters.

At least 2800 kilograms of food items, 1200 kilograms medicine, 300 blankets and 80 tents have been distributed among the afectees so far.

A field medical facility comprising eight Doctors and 15 Para Medics are providing medical treatment to injured in Mashkel.

It is worth mentioning here that 550 troops of Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps personnel are undertaking rescue operation in earthquake affected areas since 16 April 13.

Mashkel is a remote village close to the Pakistan-Iran border and is the worst affected by the earthquake. It has a population of around 40,000.

The remote village was badly affected by the massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Iran, which sent tremors across the border and saw most of it’s mud houses and shops destroyed.

Forty people have been reported to have been killed while over 100 are injured. Military helicopters have airlifted some 20 critically injured to CMH Quetta.

or private corporate media walao mien say kisi ko bhi tofeeq nahi hoi k situation ka hi bata dain....

Army again doing a thankless job... hats off !!

Nothing new for our great free and "professional" media, they are busy giving junk breaking news and junk news. All Pakistani news channels think they are far more better than Al Arabiya, Al Jazeera, CNN, BBC when it is about giving news. Starting from the sourcing and selection of the news to the presentation of the news by the news anchors and reporters.

Meanwhile, the Governor Tabuk, a Province of Saudi Arabia, had rushed a plane load of relief goods and food packets. The plane landed at Dalbandin Airport on Thursday evening and the supplies will be distributed on Friday.

Har Ghari Tayyar Kamran Hain Hum ( Pak Army Song-Lyrics )

Har Ghari Tayyar kamran hain hum
Jesay hon halaat shadman hain hum
Apne Mulk-o-Qaum ke Nigehban hain hum
Pakistani Fauj ke jawan hain hum
Har tarah ke marhalay uboor karain gai
Dushmanon ko zair hum zaroor karain gai
Madr-e-watan ko misl-e-noor karain gai
Jazba-e-Jehad se mamoor karain gai
Apne mulk-o-qaum ke nigehban hain hum
Pakistani Fauj ke jawan hain hum
Jab koi zaroorat ho hum kaam atay hain
Patharon aur pahaaron mai shahrah banatay hain
Selaab hon ya zalzalay janain bachatay hain
Mushkil ghari mai apne mulk ke kaam atay hain
Apne mulk-o-qaum ke nigehban hain hum
Pakistani Fauj ke jawan hain hum

Jan se aziz hai hum ko Mulk-e-Pak
Jan se aziz hai hum ko is ki khaak
Aao saray jag mai hum bithain is ki dhaak
Anay walay dor ko banain taabnaaak
Apne mulk-o-qaum ke nigehban hain hum
Pakistani Fauj ke jawan hain hum

Its job for every Country Army's to provide relief in natural Disaster , Even US , Japan, etc Army is the one who provide relief as they have resources.

Why they have resources because they got the biggest pie of budget.
