Only the fear of punishment gets people to follow the law.
Anyone want's to know where is Naya Pakistan?

IG Police Operations in Lahore has suggested to provincial IG Police and Chief Traffic Officer to increase traffic violation fines to Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 2,000 for cars and motorbikes respectively. The ongoing fines for violation traffic rules for car drivers Rs. 500 and for motorcycle its Rs. 200.

The fine is to be paid in 10 days or the amount might be doubled. Frequent violations or non-payment of the fine will compel the traffic police, seize the vehicle.

The e-challan generated with the help of CCTV cameras along with the pictures of violating vehicle will be sent to the vehicle’s owner at his/her postal address through Pakistan Post. The amount of Rs.50 charge by Pakistan Post will also fall in the account of the violation.

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority on Saturday has introduced an online portal for the PSCA e-challans to facilitate road users.

The Chief Operating Officer of the PSCA, Akbar Nasir Khan while talking to media, briefed about the introducing e-challan web portal in Lahore.

He said citizens can now access the portal at ‘echallan.psca.gop.pk” and by giving the vehicle's registration number and their CNIC, they can view and print e-challans, if any, issued to them.

He said PSCA has issued 87,000 e-challans so far with a collection of fines amounting 11 million rupees.

It was further made clear that the smart machines shall be linked with the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Staff (AVLS), and the Driving License Issuance Management System (DLIMS).

While addressing the general public through the same video, Punjab Safe Cities Authority Chief Coordinating Officer (COO) Akbar Nasir said that Lahore shall be the first city in the country where the e-ticketing system shall be implemented, further stating that this system of issuing tickets shall be later expanded to include other cities of the province as well.
