Dutch former anti-Muslim politician converts to Islam

. . . . .
I hope he is the Jamal Abdul Nasser sort of Muslim and not the Taliban or Maududi sort.

Most of the right wing people are religious nutt jobs..
Its no wonder that they found Islam is nuttier than the one they followed earlier.
:woot:

Clearly you are one who limits his intellect with words which are as hollow as yourself.

.
Islam is for all humanity

All races
All colours
All people

Most of the right wing people are religious nutt jobs..
Its no wonder that they found Islam is nuttier than the one they followed earlier.

A Pakistani nationalist.
Pakistan was formed in the name of Islam by millions who migrated here leaving there riches, lives and belongings behind risking the honour of their women on the way to form an Islamic republic.

The constitution of Pakistan characterizes Pakistan as an Islamic Republic and forbids legislation contradictory to Islamic Principles. The Pakistani state is an islamic one to the core.

Bieng a Pakistani nationalist automatically demands that u submitt to the character of the state which is Islam. If u oppose it then u are not a nationalist but a rebel because ur stance is in contradiction with the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

If one supports a character of state other than an Islamic one then he stands guilty of gross insult to the sacrifice of millions who were murdered on the way here during hijrat. He stands guilty of insult to the thousands of women who were raped on the way here. He stands guilty of insult to the thousands of children slaughtered on the way here. He stands guilty of treason to the memory of our founding fathers and the vision of Iqbal.

He is just like TTP which defied the natural fabric of Islamic principles and tried to impose barbarism on an Islamic republic. He has no power, neither support among the masses so he is not a viable theat as of now but rest assured that when he becomes a threat, he will be removed swiftly and without mercy just as was done to TTP.

Cheers...........Pakistani Nationalist.

The question we should ask ourselves, especially those of us living abroad - is what example are we setting of Islam? Around the world, wherever people find betterment they approach it. People do Yoga for fitness and well being, people try the 5:2 diet, we regularly had people trying different "super foods", all around the world regardless of race, class etc - people are striving for a better life.

What are we Muslims doing to show our way of life as that better life? This person through his hatred of Muslims stumbled across the light of Islam. Imagine the impact if our communities abroad were not rife with criminality, insular, poorly educated, economically challenged. People would want to emulate your success.

In the UK the British people look positively at the close family ties that people of India/Pakistan/Bangladesh have. They see it as a positive attribute, because in British society there is growing loneliness. If we did good things and told people about those good things people would look at who we are, and our deen in a different light.

Just recently an English person died in our city and his death was reported in the local papers. A part of the story was how the family had to ask for funds to cover the cost of burial (they did not have savings/insurance). In the comments system I told them about the death committee system the Pakistani community in the city uses (a shared fund for burials that everyone pays into annually). People were amazed and thought it was a great idea.

The lesson; do good, be seen to do good, interact with the people around you about good.

Agreed, Islam spreads through actions not sermons.

Joram van Klaveren is the second ex-PVV politician to convert.

A former member of Geert Wilders' far-right Dutch party announced Monday that he has converted to Islam.

Joram Van Klaveren said he made the switch from critic to convert while writing a book about Islam. "During that writing I came across more and more things that made my view on Islam falter," he told Dutch radio.

Van Klaveren was a member of parliament for the Freedom Party (PVV) from 2010 to 2014, but quit the party after Wilders' asked supporters during a rally in 2014 if they wanted more or fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands, to which the crowd chanted “Fewer! Fewer! Fewer!”

After leaving the PVV, Van Klaveren set up his own party, For Netherlands, but failed to win a seat in the 2017 national election and quit politics.

Van Klaveren was a harsh critic of Islam during his time as PVV politician, saying "Islam is a lie" and "The Quran is poison," newspaper NRC reported.

Asked in the newspaper interview if he feels guilty about these statements, Van Klaveren said he had been "simply wrong," adding that it was "PVV policy: everything that was wrong had to be linked to Islam in one way or another."

Arnoud van Doorn, a former PVV official, was an earlier convert to Islam. Van Doorn congratulated Van Klaveren on his decision via Twitter, writing: " never thought that the PVV would become a breeding ground for converts."

I think that Geert Wilder will revert soon, as well. I know he reverted once, but this time for good.
