Uhm, if they put their pic archive online, doesn't that imply consent to sharing (how else can I view them on my PC?)? And, afaik, FORSVARET is funded with public money, so at least Norwegians should get some value for their tax money.

I didn't get them from their archive, so I'm not sure about the consent legality. But I know the Forsvarets does ask that the pics at least be attributed back to them, sourced to their photo taker if appropriate, and that permission is asked before using them for commercial purposes, which isn't being done here. A precaution, nothing more.
