The 130-megawatt Hydropower Station Duber Khwar on the right bank tributary of the Indus River in Kohistan district has started its test generation.
In an interview‚ Project Director Iftikhar Ahmed said 130 megawatt of electricity will be available to the national grid very soon.
He said Unit 1 of the hydropower station has been synchronized to the national grid.
He said after completion of the major civil works activities in April last year‚ the hydropower stations was commissioned within a record period of eight months.
