‘Modern-day slavery’ ring discovered in Georgia

This did not make world news.

How many in China heard of the case?

<<<<Trafficking groups active in China usually come from Vietnam and Myanmar.>>>>

Total BS.

The biggest traffick communities are local officials who facilitate fake IDs.

They now merely get fired for the act not even serving a day in jail. Who is the death penalties?
The woman was mentally ill, so no one called the police.

The police in Yunnan Province began to trace the woman in June 2000. It took 21 years to identify the DNA of more than 2000 people before determining the woman's location. The reason why it took so much time is that no one called the police and had to take the initiative to find clues for investigation.

Three criminals have been arrested in this case of human trafficking.

The woman's false identity information came from 2000. At that time, the population information management in China's rural areas was chaotic and lacked network management, so it was easy to hide her true identity(In 2000, no foreigners would steal into China, so officials at that time would not be so vigilant as they are now).

Don't worry if somebody trips on a sidewalk somewhere in the US it makes world news and the Chinese PDF members here make sure to create multiple threads about it.

Yes, Chinese PDF member in the US that is. The question is whether this news item was headlined in the Chinese media.

It is sad that the common Chinese person hasn't absorbed Humanist goals of China's Communist revolution and remains in certain things as selfish as from 2000 years ago.

LOL! I thought the stock explanation of many of the Chinese members here with US flags when pressed why they were not in China was "uh...uh...uh..I just use a US vpn..and don't actually live there..yes that's it".

The Chinese media I followed didn't report this news.

I guess the problem of human trafficking in India and Libya must be better than that in China, right?

Why can't Chinese people use VPN? Is this ridiculous?

Even then those that use VPN could get the news through VPN instead. My question still remains unanswered.

It's reported in Chinese news..why are you so adamant that it isn't????

I think you are confusing it with this not being reported

Xinjiang’s New Slavery

Coerced Uighur labor touches almost every part of the supply chain.

Forced Prison Labor in China: Hiding in Plain Sight

Two years after a 6-year-old discovered a plea for help in a package of Christmas cards, newly released prisoners detail their accusations – and the prison’s cover up when the scandal broke.

You really believe some Uighur in Xinjiang wrote that?

I was asking a legitimate question as I don’t watch the news in China. But I do visit forums there and from the discussion, it seems Chinese has no knowledge of the case.

It didn't say it was specifically a Uighur.
