PPP is essentially comprised of Sindhi elites, so-called feudal lords. I once had the misfortune of submitting a bid for a contract of rerouting the sewage system lines which applied methane storage auxiliary complex. The contract officiators were, well they were Sindhis. When I went in for the meeting, I bore witness to a culture which could best be described as not only illiterate, but there is no sense of etiquette, plus their utter lack of knowledge on the subject matter. To top it all off, the moment they heard me converse with them in Urdu (Pakistan's national language by the way), their body language became visibly hostile and their language became blatantly coarse. As if I was their slave of something. I pursued a polite and focused way forward, but 15 minutes into the meeting, I simply stopped and got up to leave. On their query as to why I was leaving, my response was simple "your kind (Sindhi) are not worthy of my services."

I promised myself that I would not bid for any contract, if the name of to contract issuer even remotely resembled to that of a Sindhi. Then I would cancel the meeting, on the spot.

It is sad state of affairs in the country that people are denied of such basic stuff and Karachi is the hub but since we know our system is rotten so the people have to come out and demand in an effective but peaceful manner. It is easy to type angry comments on social media but takes courage and effort to stage a large but peaceful demonstration.

People think that is not their fault rather politicians' but I think somewhere we have committed mistakes as well for example not rejecting the corrupt the politicians. We were sleeping when these traitors got 18th amendment approved.

Have you observed how the mayor of Karachi Waseem Akhtar chose the leader of a the political party PSP Mustafa Kamal, to be the project director of the garbage disposal in the already flooded Karachi.

Soon Mr. Kamal was doing politics on his post that he is the savior of Karachi and then the mayor had to remove him quickly just after he was appointed. Eventually the solid waste management of Karachi was sacrificed to the cheap politics of the corrupt politicians of Karachi.

Karachi's politics are so rotten that the moment I see a face of someone from PSP,MQM or PPP on the news channel, I change it to Cartoon Network.

The rotten politics of Karachi will not let Karachi to ever flourish.
