Hello and Salam Alaikum guys!

I hope you are doing well!

One thing that was funny to me regarding Indias new Citizenship Laws was the fact that India demands from its own Muslim population to bring documents in order to prove their Indian nationality. We all know that in poor countries people struggle to survive rather than taking care of documents (or even possessing them!).

If you want to bring your spouse you married in India to let's say Germany or Austria, the officials here will not accept ANY Indian document per default! All documents issued by Indian authorities must be verified seperately by specialised lawyers! This is all due to the fact that Germans don't trust Indias corrupted system!

India may fix its fake document system first before demanding from its Muslim population that lived there for over a millenia to bring proof for them being Indian!

You can look it up here:

PS: Pakistan has the same problems. Years ago my wife went through the same document verification process.

In the gulf countries, they refuse to accept any online degrees as Indians have flooded those Muslims lands begging for jobs with fake degrees.

If you want to work in the Gulf you need a letter from the registrar that your classes were all done in person.

Stop pulling Pakistan into this shit.. if there is a problem with ur wife's documents, it is not the same as 70yrs old Documents being demanded by the Indian govt from muslims to prove their nationality...

????
What’s wrong with you?

There was no problem with her documents. Germany verifies ALL documents issued by any South Asian Nation (Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan...). This is the normal procedure for getting a family reunion visa. We all know how corrupt our officials are. So Germany has good reasons to doubt the authenticity of any issued document...

There are a few misconceptions here.

You are talking about NRC (National Register of Citizens). It has only been implemented in Assam yet. There is no such process in the rest of India for now. Though, I agree the system has loop holes.

Secondly, not just Muslims but all Indians will have to show these documents, if at all NRC is implemented in the rest of Indian outside Assam. Even within Assam, out of the 2 million people who were unable to produce documents, half were Hindus.

The citizenship law i.e. the CAA is about something completely different. It provides naturalised citizenship to non-Muslim/minority refugees from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh in India who arrived here before 2014. It has nothing to do with Indian citizens, Muslims or otherwise.

Now watch the two statements of your post and you'll find the problem..
India demands from its own Muslim population to bring documents in order to prove their Indian nationality.

Pakistan has the same problems.

Now you realize ??? You may be trying to say something else but your post suggests that Pakistan and India both are asking for decades old documents to prove their nationality, which is not true..
