Do you think water is waiting change of physics laws to make friendship with fire?
Very unlikely to happen. Egypt is in deep sh1t in term of economy. They can not afford it.
They've already said it: "Israel is too strong and we are too weak now to start a war with Israel, we must wait until our economy is stronger" - This is what the second highest MB official said in a meeting about transferring weapons to Gaza during the operation last week.
It's not that they don't want to start a war, it is that they cannot "at the moment" start a war.
Palestine is an issue to all muslims and they all rival with each other to liberate it , with the egyptian revolution it's quite possible egypt will fight a limited war with israel to get iran's position as the top israel bashing muslim nation , it's quite possible , sorry
moreover when hamas has fajr-5 , you can only imagine what egypt's got in a few years from now....
i see , but they have good military left from mubarak and if they fight a war with israel they could grab iran's position as the top israel bashing muslim nation , don't you think so?
No doubt, Egypt has a great army but the current economic and political climate in the middle east doesn't allow Egypt to make such step. Only If Morsi succeeds in creating a state ruled by'' The MB ''in syria then, They got the jews where they want them...

The Muslim Brotherhood is slowly encircling Israel; Egypt is in their hands, Syria will probably too and Jordan is witnessing more and more MB activity too. The future isn't bright for Israel when it comes to regional hostility.
Never anything that can match Israel. Everything they get is from America(Including their revolution which was a mistake as the Iranian revolution) and they won't want to damage their economy and military by fighting Israel.
how could you face Egypt when you just got defeated and miserably humiliated by the PR, Hamas, Jihad, Qasam and the rest?
Those 'Israel strong' sentiments are based on nothing. Israel withdrew from Lebanon in 2000, under fire, while Hezbollah boosted it's capabilities. The same can be said about the 2006 war, when Israel achieved non of their pre-war goals. What is all this euphoria all about? Israel lost two wars in the 21st century, and is fighting third world organizations for a couple of decades. They haven't faced an professional army in their history (don't mention all those Arab armies in the 20st century), while they aren't even capable of limiting or destroying their enemies capabilities in the long-term. And then they blame it on Iran.
