I will show you respect, irrespective of what I receive in return. I wont demand or deserve anything, but I would ask to receive the same kindness that I will show unconditionally. The video shows a slap on the face of the guy (Sham) who was talking about using them as tissue paper when the guy he was advising to (Zaid) was actually talking about his (Sham's) sister


Its actually supposed to be an eye opener...I just watched the video few hrs ago....

Because the title is a taboo in some places and in others women are still disrespected though not openly..... job/ salary/ opportunities....

I know that. I don't experience discrimination all too often, sexism sometimes, flirting a lot, but the glass ceiling is something that I'm familiar with and have dealt with, even in a nation that is very respected for its gender equality. This isn't taboo at all, it's something that all nations go through and is a discussion that gets a lot of attention. Regardless, I'd still encourage, but not demand, that people treat women like myself with respect.

I am not sure why there is even a question on the topic....How hard is it to respect a human being? Until and unless they have done something PERSONALLY SERIOUSLY MORALLY wrong, I dont see why you should be selective about respect...Sure one doesnt have to bow and become a slave, but for me minding ones own business is considered respect ...

But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].


No where does it say you ought to marry 4...You may but if you cant do justice marry ONLY ONE (in fact like an order if you fail to fulfill the condition)...To bed with is not the same as marriage apparently, your understanding of marriage is limited to the bed...Hence, I see your confusion...

How is this related to the topic at hand is beyond me......

As for that those women's 'wants and desires'- tell that to my fiancee.
Show me a similar verse for a woman- where she just 'may' marry 4 men.
