Talking about current Pakistan Politics, all I have to say is:
It’s a total farce. Every top PMLN is being accused of some major corruption and fraud, of course ALL politicians are hiding something somewhere. But what’s happening right now is PMLN’s capability’s are being eroded one by one...by targeting the top leadership, and this before an election, and this equates to no less than a backdoor coup!
This country needs stability and unity, especially at this crucial time when the countries infrastructure is being rebuilt and the economy getting back to its feet after many many years of ‘war on terror’ which brought destruction as chaos to our country!
The excruciatingly bad mouthing of the opposition parties is a disgrace (PMLN is also guilty of this). The world is watching and this paints a picture of disgust of Pakistan and it’s people, at home and abroad. Get your act together!
Only elections will decide who the people will vote for. It’s sad and sickening to see this disgusting and vile language being used by PTI (especially Imran Khan), they’re all allegations, and ballooned up at that, especially when more than questionable evidence is provided). The hypocrisy is absurd with all parties. I’ve never seen anything like this in any country, the shameful words being tossed around and throwing allegations at each other, especially at PLMN which I’m surprised they’ve only responded in less harsh words. If they were a ‘mafia’ or ‘Godfather’, the responses would have been harsher, like in Musharraf or Zardari’s time!
If anyone thinks Imran Khan is a saint which would fight and end corruption and raise Pakistan’s economy and image once in power, are misled, following a dark path.
Simply listening to the words that come out of his mouth against fellow Pakistanis makes me puke. If he has some allegations or evidence, he should discuss it in a professional manner in Parliament, he is a leader of a major party, not a man on side of road screaming and maligning others using despicable language. His mother would have not tolerated this vile language and neither should anyone else.
This speaks a lot about his character and this kind of character can never do justice or lead a country fairly. End of. Words of a leader should be spoken in respectful manner, even against a rival.
I’m in favour of anyone who will do justice and good for the country, but as the saying goes, the proof is in the pudding (or something of that sort!), and it can’t be ignored that Pakistan has transformed in past few years and is transforming thanks to Nawaz’s policies, PMLN has done a lot of development which improved Pakistan’s image across the world, other countries were surprised and and started to flock towards joining CPEC. But the disgusting thuggish behaviour of the opposition is ruining that. It’s a fact that jobs are being created in droves and economy and standard of living improving (this takes time not just wave of magic wand) and the Pakistani people are seeing change for better. Opposition is also aware that because of this transformation, they’re chances of winning are not good, so this backdoor coup is being used,
1) disgusting and vile language to try ruin the PLMN’s image
2) Thuggish behaviours and threatening PLMN’s party members to step aside or face jail time etc
3) The absolutely disgusting campaign by major Pakistan’s media platforms! This is INFORMATIONAL WARFARE against the state
All of the above and more, points to BACKDOOR COUP!!
Only elections will decide, not Imran Khans fantasy of trying to become the leader by shoving others aside, and if he somehow did, he will bring nothing but dictatorship, he’s been waiting years and years for this chance and people like him will do anything to get the top post. I would be happy to see him their, BUT only if he showed courage and win the people’s hearts by showing his good side, NOT the vile language he uses to try malign or disgrace others.
This is not the way Pakistan should be seen in front of the world!
All opinions welcome, but please don’t stoop to vile language!
