DGISI meets Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lieutenant General Zaheerul Islam called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday (today).


According to a statement issued by the Prime Minster House, issues of national security and regional stability came under discussion during the meeting.


Islam apprised the prime minister of functioning of the ISI, country’s principal secret agency, during the meeting, which took place at the Prime Minister House.

According to details, PM Sharif discussed with the ISI chief overall security situation in the region especially with reference to terrorism in the country.

Prime Minister also discussed ways and means to improve law and order situation in Karachi.

DG ISI also briefed the Prime Minister about overall functioning and performance of the Inter-Services Intelligence.

It's important coz your PM is the boss this time around and I have no doubts he'd let the ISI chief know that. I'm personally beginning to be impressed with Nawaz's political and administrative abilities. He may not be as 'revolutionary' sounding as imran khan but he might well be the man you guys need right now.

Technically every country in the world is run our way- the CIA chief is run by the US president, RAW chief reports to PM, Mi 5 chief reports to UK PM etc. if you have something magical that sets you apart, good for you.
