It wasn’t easy but PTI was second favorite with new bloods and it was heading to the right direction. Imran khan gave up too early. Nawaz sharif was goner and it was matter of time but I guess Imran Khan couldn’t hold on to the game any longer.

20 years is not too early and he is also 60's.

It takes time to prepare political party without help whereas Nawaz Sharif was directly injected by main establishments.

Unfortunately Imran Khan gave in too early which make me think he is not political smart lacking long-term insight nor patient which is crucial in politics affair to excel at.

I assure you that without interference from main establishments, Nawaz sharif could easily beat Imran Khan judging by the trend right now. Pakistan politics is finicky and moody like women. Anyone who is not in powers is always favorite for some reasons.

Hold down your horses. PMLN went into the same phase in 90s when no govt was able to survive more than 2 years. It is a learning curve for PTI and they will come stronger moving forward.
