You defend Zakir Naik's freedom of expression, but think Kamlesh Tewari should rot in jail because he 'insulted someone's faith'.

You compare ‪#‎BurhanWani‬ to Bhagat Singh, but the RSS volunteers getting killed in Kerala by the commies are 'political goons who deserve it'.

You weep buckets over the dog who was thrown down the balcony, but want your beef 'fresh and dripping with blood'.

You think Muslim women have the 'right to wear the veil', but following Karwa Chauth rituals makes women 'regressive victims of an oppressive patriarchy'.

Every time there is an Islamic terror attack somewhere in the world, you automatically chant, 'Terror has no religion', but every time a single stone gets hurled at a church or a mosque, you shout from the rooftops about 'saffron terror'.

You insist the boys who killed in Bangladesh are 'misguided youth with NO religion', but insist that the guy who 'saved his friends did so because he was a 'true Muslim'.

You feel you have the right to insult everything Hindu under the guise of 'alternate reading', but when it comes to other faiths, their traditions and beliefs 'should be respected'.

You go orgasmic over Mughals giving us 'Taj Mahal and Biryani', but refuse to talk about the systematic massacres of Hindus and Sikhs that the Mughals perpetrated.

Your heart bleeds for the 'poor oppressed Palestenian children', but you have never heard about the plight of Hindus and Sikhs in Bangladesh and Pakistan.

You never donate a rupee in the temple Hundi, yet you want temple money (and ONLY the temple money) to be used to 'build hospitals and schools'.

These are the problems of the left not necessarily of liberals....and there is a nexus between the left and the Islamists.

The problem in India is that the center of gravity for political discourse is way left of center.

But I never said that those award wapsi or the free speech gang were true liberals. At best they are a gang of opportunists and are fundamently bigot. But so are the likes of Anupam Kher and company.

Naik issue is just an excuse for sanghis to bash liberals and vice versa. He was active during the UPA govt. and so during the first two years of NDA so why take action against him now? Now I am not saying that he is innocent that's for the NIA to decide but when the internet is already under a tight scrutiny because of the ISIS threat how did he missed out? Why are we investigating him after the Bangladesh attacks and not before? And dont give me that Indian system is reactive and not proactive excuse.

Nowadays anybody can be a liberal as the congress and its allies have somehow earned the copyrights of being the sole liberals in the country. However I dont consider every liberal as a hypocrite because of them.
