I think India should take a lesson or two from its failed attempt to capture Lahore and of course the Long March.

Lahoris aren't shy from taking on the adversary all on their own.

Well it was back then Asim !
That time pakistan was nothing but a small little country with a bunch of untrained but patriotic soldiers.
Now Pakistan is a nuclear state. with a very good defnce.
Back than india had nothign to loose - now india will loose much more than pakistan will - in case of war.
Back then india and pakistan were countries of patriotic but uneducated people. who didnt understand too much in to politics and consequnce of war and need for a friendly naighbour.
THings are changing now drastically on both side of border.

as per that lahori comments : Lahories are bloody - crazy people, As much lahori friends i had all of them were fun loving but dedicated people. They can be best friend you can find out there And worst enemy you can find out there. I completely agree with you on that statement.

F16 its nothing about Lahore - may be its more about the Punjab - people in punjab both side jaat or just anybody from there- are very much similar! i would say same to same.
May be it has more to do with the prosparity of this region and kind of geographic location whichs a difference in psychology.
