Dear Pakistanis

Lately I've noticed a considerable abuse against our members from India. This is completely unacceptable. They have a right to be critical about Pakistan, its affairs, its issues, its culture and everything under the sun. As long as they are doing it with civility your rebuttal should be just that, civil.

And I don't want to hear anything about cow piss out of context (and I'd hope there are only a few contexts in which cow's urine makes it on to defence.pk).

This forum is nationality blind. We won't favor Pakistanis over Indians or vice versa. Infractions and bans would be handed alike, whenever/wherever the situation merits it.

Just because I've used the Indian example, I hope you do know it pretty much applies across the board.

If they abuse, just report.

Thats pretty much for everyone. Tit for tat, will make the forum harder to moderate.. Then naturally more bans will be handed out, etc..

Its always the same arguments with Indian members:

1. Kashmir

2. Why partition had to happen?

3. Mumbai drama

And Indian members always make arguments against Pakistan. Why should we pretend to be nice to them, when they are always abusing Pakistan and Pakistanis?

If on this forum, we choose not to learn and how to talk to the indians and best them with your point of view and perception of things---then it is of no use being here---.

This forum gives a great oppurtunity to pakistanis to listen and to understand how and what the indians are thinking---and why are they thinking what they are. Isn't that the most important thing one needs to learn about his so called adversary.

Where profanity has prevailed---there, the ideology has already failed---.

If you don't want the indians to succeed---then, you got to better them at the game that they want to play.

I already know how Indians think and what Indians feel about Pakistan. Its not really hard to figure out Indians, I rather understand the point of view from people coming from different parts of the world other than India.

This forum although run by Pakistanis, only has its subject matter as a Pakistani. We're an international forum with Pakistan as its subject.

Just stick to the rule of the thumb. You talk about the subject being discussed, never about the persons discussing it.

And Indian members always make arguments against Pakistan. Why should we pretend to be nice to them, when they are always abusing Pakistan and Pakistanis?

They are free to do so. You may choose to defend against these arguments or even be critical of India.

However you may not attack the person making the criticism. The person is a member of this forum and has his or her member-rights and will be protected.

Very good post I would say but one more thing I would like to add that there are few Indian members whose nicks and profile pictures are simply cannot be tolerated. We need to make them change such nicks and avatars.

I think no need to resort to personal attacks or abuses. You can counter 100 Indians single handedly only if you take pain to gather some facts and make your argument logical.

Omar i can understand your feelings, indeed spamers and trolls will be bothering you alot but never get overwhelmed by their numbers just be cool and calm and trust me you can counter them without being abusive.
difference of opinion is the basis for any argument.

And just push the Report button in case of any buger arround .

That is something we take care of across the board. Any abuses will be taken care of obviously.

Well, all of the above views expressed are excellent.

One thing, i would like the senior members to do is groom the young and newly joined members from PAK side if they have little bit of time. That is the way in the army. New members are just like the newly passed out cadet, raw & full of emotions. But the senior officers in the unit grooms the young and advices him to become a more mature officer. Similarly, if the senior members see any young member here getting too emotional and starts abusing or something like that, they should guide him and tell the ways to counter the indians with facts & figures, its an other thing that Indian members will keep playing dumb & dumber (& some dumbest too ) as they mostly do, except for some.
As the majority of members joining must be young, in their teens or may be the rush of excitement in facing & countering the Indians make them do & say stupid things.

So, all senior guys, do give advices to the young, if they still don't behave, then Mods definitely should through them out.

It is so important for new and younger members as well, to read the posts---new and old---and see where the discussion is leading to---and then post accordingly.

You are entering the world forum---it becomes the responsibility of every new member and old members to do some research on the material they want to post---read read and read---read books about the subject---read on the web---go to a library to read---most important---if you want to win, then read what your enemy thinks about you and what they write about you and then adjust and make changes in your approach and thinking---you will see the difference.
