I have been thinking about creating a dedicated thread highlighting DAWN newspaper and its owner's clear cut narrative building against Pakistan and its interests. Sometimes they do it right on your face, and sometimes with the choice of words and how they put the highlights about a particular story which give a twist going against national interests and values. And sometimes just putting a very granny and odd pic of people occupying important positions in Pakistan (same thing which BBC is accused of).

Today however, they crossed a red line, when they labelled a sitting elected prime minster of Pakistan as a rape apologist. This is a very serious allegation , nothing short of name calling and it should be punished very severely. Whoever wrote this, authorised this, MUST be dragged into the court and send to jail, at minimum.

A lot of members here have alao pointed this out earlier.Dawn's comment section is always filled of negative comments against Pakistan some sarcastic while others full of cringe and what aboutery.And one user "M.Emad" is present in almost every comment section.
And not to forget "Salaria Aamir Ahmed".

The fact that Dawn comments section is regulated, all blatant lies and propaganda from anti Pakistan trolls, is allowed to be posted, that mean only one thing, that Dawn's administration is directly complicit.

I am sure that PMIK is aware of all the legal avenues already available to him by law for libel and slander, should he so decide.

Government should release the figures of capital punishment executed over the course of the tenure.

Government has done a fair job in controlling the rape pandemic.

Zainab incident was a wake up call for the society.

Dawn group has unwithering support from the establishment which is stuck in her own game. It seems like establishment is fighting itself either for pay or play.

Civil society of Pakistan also needs to understand the gravity of the situation where the office of prime minister of Pakistan is accused of harbouring a rape apologist!

PEMRA already has the authority to regulate media according to the goals set for them.

Bad as that is but they take the cake when after saying this about the sitting Prime Minister the very fcukin next Dawn will be crying on about how media is censored and controlled by the government. I would love to see the 'free media' in India try this.

Most of the comments are from Indian's even when the names are Muslim. Dawn and it's op-ed writers I think often atively fish for Indian readership and thus the articles are like honey for Indians.

I think the government has too much on it's plate right now. The media are already b*tching about government censoring them. Last thing they need is every media watch dog from Los Angles to New Delhi begin screaming aboutb Pakistan and it's decent into a police state - probably lacing it with claims that CCP has been teaching Pakistan how to establish a authritarian state. Suddenly Fazul Rehman will become a favourite of western media.
