why dont they form a joint team with IA to fix the requirement or expectations from this FMBT.
rationally they need to convince the IA about the corelation of weight to the various features added, give the exampels of the various tanks currently in service.

also i support the CVRDE for extending the Arjun project to the FMBT. we can not let go the knoledge gain through the pains of Arjun project. they are trying to excel the knoledge & put it in a product.

I agree, bhai. This is nonsense. I hope the new general coming to position signs up the Mk.2s for battle. Other countries promote their products even if they are in the evolving stage while our military top brass think of demoting it and discouraging national development.

I think a more relevant government (this one is a joke) should come in and purge all the so-called lobbies that are there. Execute all these lobbyists without any trial by law and this should be done with a big wad of cloth stuffed into the mouth of our over-free media.

An end to lobbies is what will trigger indigenous development and induction at a faster pace. So? Do something so ruthless that any potential sell-outs fear attempting to do the forbidden.
