CTD FOILS TTP TERRORIST ACTIVITY IN PUNJAB

IBO (Intelligence Based Operation) conducted by CTD on info of a sensitive agency. 3 terrorists of Proscribed Organisation TTP (Tehreek Taliban Pakistan) killed in IBO. They were Most Wanted Terrorists of Red Book. Thay had blown up PAF Bus in Sargodha in 2007 killing several innocent people. Explosives and arms, funds for terrorism financing & maps of sensitive places recovered. A chapter in history of terrorism in Sargodha Division closed.

Details: Today (30 June 2019 at about 10:30 pm), CTD Gujrat Team got info from a credible source of a Sensitive Agency that 6 terrorists including 3 Most Wanted Red Book terrorists were planning to kill personnel of a sensitive agency in Gujrat. They were present on Jalalpur Jatan Road, District Gujrat. The CTD raided the place & challenged the terrorists to surrender. The terrorists instead started firing on the CTD Officers. The CTD Officers took precautionary measures & a shootout ensued. After the firing stopped, 3 terrorists were found dead. Other 3 terrorists escaped taking benefit of darkness. The dead terrorists were identified as:
1- Tayyab Jamil @ Baba Ji
2- Bilal @ Abdul Rahim &
3- Nadir @ Abdullah.
They were among most dangerous terrorists of Punjab trained in Afghanistan. They were Most Wanted Terrorists of Red Book. They had committed multiple acts of terrorism including attack on PAF Bus in Sargodha,
Attack on Police Training School Sargodha,
Attack on Police Post Qudratabad Nianwali,
Attack on Patrolling Post Darra Tang,
Attack on Police Post Kundian killing dozens of innocent citizens of Pakistan. Recoveries from them include Explosives to make IEDs, Rocket, arms, ammunition, maps & funds of terrorism financing.
Raids are being conducted to arrest fleeing terrorists.
Investigation has been launched.

This seems to be some kind of conventional way to release info on encounters --- it is almost always two or three who "escape under cover of darkness." And it is almost always that they first "ask them to surrender" and then "upon stiff resistance, a gun fight ensued."

I think they actually get everyone they want.
