I am so delighted to announce Cricket Revolution has been selected as the Official game of Cricket WorldCup 2011 and that game is not just Made in Pakistan but I have designed its core interfaces, logos and lots of stuff working as Lead Designer with the Cricket Resolution Team.
MindStorm Studios is Lahore based game and media studios that was setup by two brothers Babar and Faraz in 2006. Initially the team had 5 people working on the game which later increased to roughly 12.
I joined the team the same year and produced main interfaces, Logos, Game Controls, Game Option Screens, Score-Cards, a Stadium and other marketing content we needed then. Have a look at some of its screenshots.
The project took longer than it was anticipated and also suffered from financial problems but dedication and consistant improvements to the game has brought this game a success it deserves.
To tell you bit more, this game has world's best game play and first time real physics implemented in a cricket game and still amazing part is that the core-game physics is written by the Babar, a 28-29 years old guy single handedly and this game engine is better than that of CodeMaster, BrianLara and other major competitors of the Market.
The game will be officially announced within 24 hour and a countdown is already running on their website. So have a chance and celebrate this little even of joy with them and yes
