CPEC and the economic condition of Pakistan

Taking loans without proper policy, reforms, loan terms and condition will be nightmare.. am not going to say anything against CPEC or current bailout package. But many countries facing difficulty with such loans and ended up supplying oil, leasing ports etc... And the main thing is, chinese loans comes with chinese equipment, and majority chinese workers..Usually local youth will be trained for such projects but not for chinese..

That's exactly shouldn't be the top priority, but if your ministers have empty head than this is the obvious choice.

But is it not fair only to hang a murderer? And not only fair but required by justice?

And those who celebrate and support a traitor at the helm, what to do with them?

But I also agree, cannot let affairs of a state be run on emotion.

I never looked at it from china's perspective but now that I think about it, I totally agree with you. China can only benefit from the western route. The rest of the whole project was forced by Pakistani politicians for their political gain.

they want manufacture industry relocated to pakistan, but lack basic infrastructure so they need to build it.

Recently 'CHANDA' govt. declared that expatriates will be treated as non filers... i.e. they will be classified as tax thieves and will be penalized thereof on every spending., of course they are non filers but they are also the sole foreign investors in Pakistan! Should any country tax foreign investment or worst double tax!?
Such is the class of this bunch of silly gooses.... no doubt they are directing Pakistan to the edge of cliff.

Sindh is hit with famine, bureaucracy is paralyzed, but all what Donkey Kingdom is focused on is Nawaz Sharif.
If any one point at Zardari, than hypocrite reply would be ''wait his time will come'' and in next sentence they will fall back on Nawaz Sharif.

This govt. is all about talk and no deliverance, before elections they spoke of revolution and now they want 20 years. Why they didn't allow Musharraf 20 years?

On the economic front, everyone is already very clear. A large number of infrastructure projects such as electricity, energy and transportation can be the basis for Pakistan's economic development. for China, just by ecnomic pointview, investing in CPEC is a foolish investment

Another level is the strategic security significance. The largest land barrier between China and South Asia is the complex terrain, which makes China's large-scale assistance to Pakistan from land very difficult and costly. CPEC can completely change this situation.

The stolen money if brought back will make a huge difference. You cannot give breathing room to a crook like Nawaz Sharif and expect him to go away and then expect to start solving problems while those at the source of the problems are free to continue to do you harm. If you have to go to IMF, might as well hang those who were running affairs for the last 10-15 years for incompetence and negligence, including the responsible generals and elements from within the deep state, for resulting in harm to national security.

Pakistan is in this economic mess due to corruption and mismanagement. The only fix is to stop that corruption and mismanagement. The govt. is collecting donations for that dam fund because no one has been paying their fair share of taxes.

Pakistan will be fine. Just deal with corruption first, but that cannot be done if the biggest crooks in the last 50 thousand years are let go free.

The current government has not been in office even for three months! Give Imran Khan 30+ years before you judge him and compare his performance to those enemies of God like Nawaz Sharif and Zardari.
