Minister Rekha Arya spoke at length about the "medicinal qualities" of cow urine

DEHRADUN:
The Uttarakhand Assembly passed a resolution on Wednesday, seeking the status of "rashtra mata" (mother of the nation) to the cow.

The resolution will be sent to the Centre. It was moved by state Animal Husbandry Minister Rekha Arya and passed unanimously after it got the support of both the Opposition and treasury benches.

Moving the resolution in the Assembly, Mr Arya claimed that the cow was the "only animal that not only inhales oxygen, but also exhales it", and spoke at length about the "medicinal qualities" of cow urine.

"The cow is treated as an incarnation of motherhood. The cow's milk is scientifically considered the best for newborn after his mother's milk," the minister said.

Giving the status of "rashtra mata" to the cow will further strengthen cow-conservation efforts all over the country, she added.

Every animal's breath has some amount of oxygen in it. The cow isn't unique.

As someone had previously pointed out how else is CPR possible?

.
They win elections by anti Pakistan speeches and get political strength by cow urine speeches.
What a country

.
he should stick his face in the rear of cow he will get plenty oxygen.

.
Cow urine make this assertion possible. This Indian is whacked.

.
We use only 25% of the Oxygen we inhale rest of it is exhaled and that's what most animals do as well.
So technically if cow will be the mother than Modi can be the father of the nation and as Modi doesn't like to live with his wife so he might like to live with this cow.
It also provides the additional advantage of constant supply of cow urine.
