I've seen maps of Pakistan online, where it was cut into pieces and only two of its states / provinces made up of the country. I foresaw these issues coming up and thus, continued to write about Pakistan needing a strong foreign policy and direct contact with the US to work things out by putting mutual interests on the table.

One could expect anything from snakes. IMO the expectation of a new emerging block gives immense pain to the mother of evil, USA.
Further, the defeat in Afghanistan at the hands of the Taliban shattered the US ego badly. Now definitely they could go to such an extent. They should remember, the world is no more unipolar.

They had been doing that in Afghanistan for years.

Besides, US support seldom does the supported any good long term given mostly the support is against someone rather than for someone. Look at the Kurds.

Hopefully things would settle down now that the US is out of Afghanistan. Baloch separatists can not do much if they have no territory to hide into.

Regardless, this highlights the importance of fencing and securing our borders. I don't mean just the land borders but also our seas because that may also be used. Increase the budget for maritime patrols.

Because ultimately we can't really control what others choose to do, we just have to prepare ourselves for any reasonable scenarios. Have contingencies in place if they choose to act against our interests.

It will be direct confrontation with a country of 200 nuks and 230 million population. It will throw further Pakistan into Chinese camp and it will bring lots of trouble for USA. I belive USA will not short on its foot.

The Americans sure would want India to get control of GB. I doubt even the Indians think that would be achievable at an acceptable risk and cost.

CPEC is important to the US because it is important to the Chinese. The Chinese factor alone is enough to deter the Indians given the Chinese just captured Indian territory. The Indians are struggling to take back whatever they lost recently so I doubt they have the resources to start a war with Pakistan for American interest whilst the Chinese salami slice their territory.
