what the hell are you talking about? Turkey is way more democratic especially about the elections.. Also, dont lie here that the oppositions were raided.. in Turkey, oppositions can say anything they want, i wonder if your oppositions can do it in your country.. or even if they ever get in TV..

Widely reported that anti-AKP media was suppressed

You won't have known about it living in Turkey but the rest of the world knows about it.

Embedded media from this media site is no longer available

Not really happy with the results but that how democracy is whether you like it or not.

Yes.

Lose majority in election, prevent coalition, start a war with Kurds, bring terrorism back to Turkish streets, suppress the anti-AKP media and run a new election.

Democracy

. . . .
More than 50 million people voted. Election results were largely accepted by all parties. If countries like Israel and India hate you, then you must be doing something right ! Pathetic indians here, didn't you guys just elect a murder. PM MODI aka butcher of gujarat , a wolf in sheep's clothing.

.
Egyptians and other regional countries should learn from this. Some Turks here don't like the result, but they seem to be accepting it because that's how democracy works. In Egypt, the people who didn't like the result, just decided to overthrow the president and go back to militarily rule.

.
The few Turkish origin members that I came across on online gaming aren't happy about the result and are calling it fixed.

Turkey has a flowing Democratic system.. The people of turkey have made their choice and they liked erdogan. Unlike the thinking if various countries the people of the election holding nation are not stupid or brain dead that you will stand and say they were confused by the corrupt regime and need us to come over there and spoonfeed the correct democracy where you elect only our guys.

The Turkish akp party has received majority and many people have voted for them. Akp is the choice of the majority and thus their mandate must be respected.. In 2019 if the Turkish people don't like it they will vote for other parties. Simple as that.

I wish turkey great progress in the future.

Main Opposition media are Zaman, Hürriyet, Cumhuriyet, Sözcü....

While Zaman, Hürriyet and Sözcü is in the top five..Bugün is like 16th the most read newspaper.....

I don't like AKP but what you are claiming is baseless....it's like saying sun is purple.

Blaming AKP doesn't work...opposition should self-criticize themselves.
Nationalist party's(MHP votes droped 7-8 percent from the last election, it's leader lost 14 elections. And he still won't resign. Same with the CHP, it's leader lost many elections but still won't resign.

There is serious lack of opposition in Turkey. AKP, Erdoğan has no alternative....

I don't expect a Turk to understand what's going on in Turkey because your media is controlled by Erdogan.

In the election just a few months ago, AKP lost their majority. They were furious.

So instead of building a coalition government like most normal countries do, AKP decided that they would start a war with the Kurds, get nationalist feelings back up, get the people to rally behind the 'strong' AKP who would deal with the Kurds and then run a new election knowing the supporters that deserted them before would come back.

I don't understand a foreigner, who doesn't have a clue about the opposition media in Turkey to understand myself.

AKP decided that they would start a war with the Kurds,
Another ignorant words as always....

PKK =/ Kurds.

Clashes begin with the PKK executing two police officers in their homes. Draw security forces response. Of course as an Israeli you are going to say these slanders / lies.

After all Zionists like you have no shame of lying and slandering. Honorless people. :bad:

Do you have comprehension issues? The top 2 media groups Hürriyet and Zaman are anti- AKP. Zaman are spineless faggots who will sell their soul and nation for some pennies to zionist CIA and Mossad, At least Hürriyet has a strong foundation and history, they won't, they are highly critical

Yep it is common human nature where the loser blames the winner to justify his loss. It takes serious level of self introspection to find your own flaws and it seems the opposition parties are not strong choices to challenge a strong party like akp. Lack of opposition or strong opposition is a very common phenomenon in democracy. In pakistan lack ofchoices was the reason during the decade of 1990 to 1999 that we swung between N and PPP and it was only in 2013 election that we got PTI.

I truly believe that the ground realities of a nation are known only to the nation and forums are not an indicator for support.

Well all the best.
