Corbyn: UK could keep Trident submarines but without warheads

Corbyn "I WILL negotiate over future of the Falkland Islands" | Army Rumour Service

On BBC1 today Corbyn managed to give away that under his regime, the UK would negotiate with Argentina over the future of the Falkland Islands. (Corbyn: UK could keep Trident submarines but without warheads - BBC News)

Lets quietly ignore the fact that 99% of the residents voted to stay British a couple of years ago. Lets forget that for many years Argentina has been an economic basket case that has resorted to illegal armed invasions and human rights abuses of other countries territory (e.g. the Falklands), and lets forget its history as a one party state cum dictatorship.

Under 'Jez' it seems that its okay to champion and support every fashionable cause going providing it involves minorities or foreigners, or people who class themselves as impacted by an 'ism'. Should you have the misfortune to be white and British, then you are fair game to be handed over to a third world state with an appalling human rights record.

I will be blunt. I think Jeremy Corbyn is the greatest threat to democracy and human rights in the UK since the Nazis in 1940.

The man is a threat to the United Kingdom's national security.

Hopefully he will never be elected.

She will still have the Cruise Missiles & anti-ship missiles.

In many ways I have respect for men like Corbyn. He comes from long line of eccentric left winger in British politics like Michael Foot, Tony Benn but these guy's defence policies are often just about saving money at any cost. Trident submarines have to be kept to gain respect in the world. To retain it and not be a luaghing stock nuclear warheads are absolute requirement.

Don't bother with the leftist Corbyn, he is a national joke here and a good poster boy for tabloids. lol. Even his own party members don't take him seriously. He is just like an interim leader for labour, until a more charismatic leader like Tony blair shows up again. Many of his own shadow secretary resigned recently because of his outdated views, nobody can stand him. lol

My only regret is that he is taking Labour even further down the drain than it is already. It has led to a situation where we will soon be a one party state, as the Conservative will face no real challenge to their rule(Labour is already a joke thanks to Corbyn), which is bad for Britain, since there should always be a credible opposition to a government, so as to keep the ruling party/government on it's toes and self correct when mistakes are made. But as time goes by the conservatives will keep praying Corbyn remains Labour's leader, since he is doing a far better job at destroying Labour than the conservatives could ever dream of.:( Bad news for British democracy indeed.

Lol, dear God.... There is more chance of electing Shrek than him.

True, reason i told my friend @Vauban not to even bother posting stuffs about Corbyn. Nobody takes him seriously.

Which will never be used if the Labour party is elected with Jeremy Corbyn as its head. Which means they eventually get what they want, the death of the UKs nuclear deterrent and second strike capabilities and the neutering of the Armed Forces (a bit more) after a strategic defence review that would probably cut funding for the subs as they would be seen as a capability that no longer needs funding.

Corbyn essentially wants an island defence force that would only deploy on peacekeeping and humanitarian missions. What he misunderstands is that the big ticket capabilities we have allow us to deploy on these missions.

near towards the election he will step down. he's just keeping the seat warm for his successor.

I was discussing the exact same thing with someone the other day. The Tories can do as they please. There are plenty of things I'd take them to task for, but sadly the Commons has no one up for the task.

He is destroying labour, it's like as if he is doing it intentionally.

Well, i am beginning to believe in what some conspiracy theories some of my colleagues say at work(though i never believe in conspiracy theories): 'That Corbyn might have been sent by the conservatives as a Trojan horse to totally destroy Labour to the point where Labour will never again be a mainstream part(just a small/fringe party like say UKIP/SNP etc).' lol

It's beginning to look like they were correct. If that's the case , then i must say he is doing a superb job as a conservative spy.

near towards the election he will step down. he's just keeping the seat warm for his successor.

True, that was the plan labour had, but then again, seems they didnt count on one thing: THAT AT THE RATE CORBYN IS GOING, THERE WILL BE NO LABOUR PARTY LEFT BEFORE A NEXT 'REAL' SUCCESSOR IS ELECTED.

does the UK even need ballistic missile submarines?? I'd rather the U.K use the money saved on beefing up it's land forces, surface navy, and air force.

U.S and France have plenty of nuke subs with plenty more warheads on them to make up for the loss.
