The book 'Naattai ulukkum Rafale bera oozhal' was scheduled to be launched on Tuesday evening by senior journalist N Ram.

The Chennai police seized a book on the Rafale deal, just hours ahead of its release at a function on Tuesday. They also confiscated copies of the book from the showroom of the publisher, citing violation of the Model Code of Conduct.

‘Naattai ulukkum Rafale bera oozhal’ is a Tamil book written about what went on in the Rafale deal and how the Modi government allegedly arranged private companies to benefit out of a defence deal. It is authored by S Vijayan and published by Bharathi Puththagalayam.

Bharathi Puththagalayam had arranged for a book release function on Tuesday evening in Chennai. However, hours before the function, copies of the book were seized by police officials who claimed that the contents of the book violated the Model Code of Conduct.

The Election Commission today stalled the release of a book that is based on Rafale aircraft deal. The book was written by S Vijayan and is titled 'Nattai Ulukkum Rafael; Bera Oozhal' simply translating as (Rafael: laundering of the nation). EC has confiscated hundreds of copies from the Chennai-based publishing house Bharathi Pusthakalayam saying that it is a violation of model code of conduct. EC officials said that the book contains sensitive information about Rafale deal and violates rules of the Election Commission

unfortunately , Tamilnadu ( to be precise ) , is and was never under Pakistan radar, the focus has always been on Kashmir. The North vs South divide is more pronounced in Tamilnadu when compared with other south Indian states.

Jinnah stated "I have every sympathy and shall do all to help, and you establish Dravidistan where the 7 per cent Muslim population will stretch its hands of friendship and live with you on lines of security, justice and fairplay" .

Thats the thing southerns aren't aryans and aren't naturally tied to the northerners. We have to point our cover guns on the south, modis hindutva wave can be a good platform. I prey that our agencies are seriously looking into this area.

In the south, the affiliation to the Dravidian identity and roots in strong only in Tamilnadu, not the other southern states e.g Kerala, Karnataka etc. Thats a reason why the Dravida Nadu movement didnt take off as the other southerners opposed the Dravidian identity and Dravida Nadu (Dravidistan) concept.

Tamils were the only people who fought (and are fighting ) against Hindutva ideology e.g brahmanism , Hindi imposition. The other southern states have lapped up Hindi, brahmanism, and are comparatively more nationalistic.
