Arif Commando, a target killer who has been awarded death sentence for murdering a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Bhola Gujjar, has alleged that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah ordered him to commit the crime.

In a statement submitted before an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), the convict said the law minister feared that Gujjar was leaving the PML-N for Sher Ali Group or the rival Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

He said Rana Sanaullah called another absconding suspect former SHO Farrukh Waheed to his dera and expressed these apprehensions. “On that occasion, he asked me to kill Gujjar and assured me of his support,” he said.



Arif Commando claims that later he followed Bhola Gujjar after he left advocate Aatika’s residence and fired bullets at his car near Seeta Mandar.

After the statement, the court has ordered authorities to initiate an investigation into the claim through an investigative officer no less than a superintendent police (SP). The court order to this effect has reached the CPO.

According to Online, Arif Commando has also claimed that after the murder he submitted the Kalashnikov at Sanaullah’s dera and informed the law minister through Viber. He also claimed that he was subjected to torture to stop him from naming Rana Sanaullah.

Talking to a private TV channel, the law minister termed the allegations ‘baseless’ and ‘based on a conspiracy’. He denied that he ever met Arif Commando.

“Bhola Gujjar was my brother and everyone knows that I am the complainant in the case. This conspiracy is hatched to derail the investigation,” he said, adding an investigation should be carried out into the allegation.

This is quite interesting. This is not the first time someone is alleging Rana sanaullah to be involved in killings. There have been many similar allegations. Hope this matter gets investigated.

Merey bhai what do you expect to hang him just because someone has alleged that he was working for Rana shab. There has to be a formal investigation first. I think he will walk free.

And as I said before, I will never support MQM's anti state or criminal actions. But I also will not stop mentioning the double standards that have seeped into our society and our mentality, (me included).

Should be an investigation and etc,etc... i agree there is a level of double standards, that's what it is, they are in power don't expect anything. You don't expect police to hang him just on allegation there has to be substantial evidence, which is present in case of MQM terrorists? We seen a lot of discrimination among son of soils and migrated one open a thread and I give you a lot of example OR re open one Oscar started " Traitors ". Mqm leaders not arrested coz there were no profes to arrests but they did arrest Amir khan and release Same as Kaiful Wara, Qamar Mansoor still in custody? And hundreds low level Karkuns arrested and no one brought for trial yet.
The missing one? Extra judicial killed one?
Please don't try to bring old broken record why they arrested killed etc.

I expressed my views in post 15 and earlier posts while my views on MQM and muhajir identity have been discussed in another thread. I will repeat them.

Long ago a relative of mine was kidnapped. He was mistreated by his kidnappers, severely so. He was kidnapped while he was driving in Karachi. One day a man came up to him and told him who his kidnappers were. They were PPP people according to him under the direct employ of Zardari. They said they had a set number of kidnappings every month. They had a whole bunch of sims from stolen cell phones

I have nothing for the MQM and agree that it is a mistake to call ourselves muhajir even now but I can see where these people are coming from. You see they compare the policy with US policy over Israel. Demanding Iran or Pakistan to give up its nukes while tolerating the nukes of Israel and India. So there is a kind of bias.

If criminals have to be hunted they should be hunted in a way that is equal-where all criminals from all parties are arrested. So I would like our LEA's to go after PPPP ANP and PMLN criminals as well including Rana Sanaullah. I mean he has been witnessed with a garland of flowers around his neck standing with Ludhianvi a killer of shias.

As far as MQM is concerned my views are clear. I see my communities efforts from the prism of benefits to Pakistan not our struggle to get extra rights.If you look at it urdu is already the national language, Muhajirs have a gdp per capita 13,000 ruppees higher than Punjabis and are at the top economically while controlling the top cities of Sindh and having an unequal access to education and employment-something the rural sindhis don't have. So why this insecurity. Why the constant demand for extra rights?

MQM is an enemy of the nation. It has called partition a blunder, asked Indians for help and Ajmal Pahari and many other militants of MQM have taken training from India. Syed Jamaluddin who is vouching for Jinnahpur was one of the original members of MQM and demanded the end of Pakistan. This is contrary to my Lucknowi families historical efforts to form Pakistan. So we should hate the MQM for dividing Pakistan ethnically.

Yet people support the MQM regardless because it is a muhajir party. They might deny it but that is the only reason they vote for it. Muhajir itself is a weak term to describe us and should be given up. It means a nomad-a religious nomad. We are not nomads-we are settled in cities-have immense power and are highly educated. Also a person does not become muhajir by moving from point A to B. If it is then Punjabis in Karachi are muhajir, Shina people in Lahore muhajirs and so on. So this is a very weak identity. Jinnah actually intended us to merge with local ethnic groups when we came-a reason i am trying to merge as a pashtun. He did not expect us to form a separate ethnic group.

We migrants have severely let down our ancestors. Sorry to say. My views have been heavily debated in this thread. Go through some of my posts:

1: Can you start to refer to other people with some respect? There is no need for name calling. IK's party has the highest numbers of rejected gangsters and third class thugs after Zardari's party. It's a fact. Take a look at yesterday's election results. IK's party got smoked like a BBQ Chicken, primarily because the wholesale thugs he had brought into his party.

2: This murderer, per my little knowledge, is waiting for a death penalty. He went through many courts, interrogation and all. Why is it that on one sunny day, he decided to involve this guy?
When he probably went through intense beat down by the police a long time ago, when he was getting interrogated and he didn't involve such a big name to try to save himself from capital punishment? (a time when he really needed to do this to save his life)????

Is someone going to pay his family for this accusation, after he's hung due to capital punishment from the court of law? You know it is Pakistan and this is highly possible?

Anyway, if there is credibility to this guy's statement....why not file a case in the Supreme Court, instead of writing these silly posts on here? There is a very active federal justice system in Pakistan. You should pursue it, no one's stopping you from trying to find justice if you have a real case for the court....
