well the thing about J-10 makes the whole article doubtful. It is highly unlikely now specially with PAF moving ahead with JF-17 and the up coming J-31 option. Rest, i hope this do not ends with signing of further MoU, over gov should step u p and cash in on these extraordinary investment proposals from China. This can be a game changer for our economy. I hope we finally start putting our country first and politics second and something practical comes out of this tour rather then a bunch of more MoUs.
For defense deal, i guess work will go ahead as planned on JF-17, WZ-10 will also most likely be the main stay of Army Aviation in terms of attack helicopter, forming the front line together with the freshly confirmed Cobra Helicopters.
For Navy deal, i sincerely hope that the frigates are not the exact same F-22p but some improved version with better air defense capability, as of today our small fleet is basically defense less in open sea from an enemy air attack. Also not very excited about the subs deal, China is not a big name when it comes to submarines, it would have been better if we had acquired even fewer subs but from some proven western builder with AIP etc. It is, for me, even more important than the anticipated cruise missile launch capability. This said, we are not sure what subs will PN go for and there actual capabilities but the prospect is not veryyyy bright!!
