Consider Tibet core issue between India, China: Tibet's PM-in-exile

.
I am sure many Kashmiri's would want China to consider Kashmir a core interest issue between China and India. Though the situation between Tibet and Kashmir are worlds apart; where Kashmir is a current war zone between Kashmiri's and Indian colonial forces and where Tibet is on the path of development: higher living standards than average Indian, higher literacy rate then average Indian, more wealth than average Indian.

How exactly can inferior Indians help the Tibetans who are more superior than them in every single way? What exactly does African-level-Indians have to offer to the richer and healthier Tibetan?

Tibetans
IQ 105
Life expectancy 73
GDP $2403

Indians
IQ 79
Life expectancy 64
GDP $1527

I think it's worth giving a consideration as China has already informally started interfering in the Kashmir issue.

Maybe not now, but surely must be on the table.

.
why chinese government hasnt killed these 'tibetian' terrorists is beyond me.

these terrorists should be executed in a brutal and ruthless way.

there is no such thing as tibetians, they are an imaginary race.

22 monks defy China, attend Buddhist meet in Delhi - The Times of India

NEW DELHI: Despite a crackdown by China, 22 senior Buddhist leaders from the Chinese mainland did attend the global meeting of Buddhist religious orders held here in late November in the face of intense pressure from Beijing on India to scrap the event.

The monks came to India some time before the event either singly or in small groups and were an unobtrusive presence at the meet that gathered 800 delegates from all major Buddhist nations in Asia and showcased India's centrality to the faith and its propagation. They are understood to have travelled on tourist visas.

The monks defied China's disapproval and while their presence at the meet is likely to result in some questions being asked of them, the religious heads were here on agendas that included other engagements as well. The monks had been invited by Lama Lobsang, head of the Asoka Mission that organized the meet.

"The monks from China were among those we invited to attend the meeting," Lama Lobsang told TOI. There were, however, no attendees from Tibet as Chinese authorities would not provide travel documents to prominent Buddhist figures from a region that still reveres the Dalai Lama, who China regards as a separatist.

The Asoka Mission sought and received approval of top government functionaries as a high profile Buddhist congregation staged by China some years ago had caused some concern. The religious and political implications of Buddhist sanghas turning to China are obvious and with India shaded by some hard-headed Chinese diplomacy.

The resolution adopted by the congregation states its resolve to "protect, preserve and promote Buddhist heritage worldwide, particularly in India and Nepal". The development of Bodhgaya, Sarnath, Kushinagar and Lumbini is the cornerstone of this vision. The China-backed plan for a $3-billion development of Buddha's birthplace of Lumbini - just across the Indian border in Nepal - is a fair indicator of the stakes.

"When we asked heads of Mahayana and Theravada sanghas to come to India, the land where their faith was born, almost no one refused," said Lama Lobsang. Some nations like Myanmar have tilted to China and others like Sri Lanka have increased their engagement. A Buddhist show would impact public opinion in these countries and could deliver a diplomatic dividend to India.

While the Chinese presence was a surprise element, the event was highly successful in bringing together heads of sanghas or orders from nations like Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, South Korea, Laos, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Japan and central Asian republics. Lama Lobsang even went to the Buryatia Republic in Siberia, 90 minutes by air from Mongolia.

Although Prime Minister Manmohan Singh did not attend the meet, the preparedness of the Indian government to accept rescheduling of the talks between China's special representative Dai Bingguo and national security adviser Shiv Shankar Menon indicates New Delhi's determination not to give China a pass in Buddhist diplomacy.

I have some Tibetan college classmates. They were all well educated and gentle. They should feel superior about Indians.

.
india and indians should keep themselves away from Tibet/Tibetans.
the damn reason here is damn simple: if necessary, China can support your separatist groups in india.

the biggest concern I have is indians are in general not that smart, they fail to see this fact.
