The India Today-Axis Exit Poll of the Karnataka elections are out!

The exit poll results declare that the Congress party will retain power in Karnataka with a seat range of 106-118 seats.

The poll also predicts a seat range of 79-92 for the BJP and a sharp decline for the JD(S), who will be restricted to 22-30 seats.

I was showing that even after 5 years, Congress is going strong. Congress CM Siddaramayya has played a master stroke and has successfully divided the Hindu votes by declaring lingayats as separate religion.

I do not think it is due to religion issue..Rather...he has not so bad in his tenure in last 5 year to be replaced with BJP whoose CM candidate is not strong enough to win election..

I personally feel...Congress will win as they have better leader with them than BJP...It is like Congress in Punjab where its CM is popular in Punjab rather than congress party itself..

At the end of the day..better leaders should lead Karnatak...

It won't be needed. Congress did everything they could and they maybe be edging out as single largest party or maybe with majority. If needed buying out JDS candidates won't be an issue either. There are still 2 constituencies would be funny if it comes down to it.
