China will use nuclear weapons to attack all countries that directly or indirectly interfere in the Taiwan issue. The result of a nuclear war is that all countries directly and indirectly involved in this war will be destroyed. If China loses, everyone loses. No country , even the size of US can take a few H-bomb warhead hitm. Radiation side effect will slowly devour the remaining population. It's a slow death for the survivor. China nuclear capabilities definitely is capable of hitting US mainland.

It will be naive to think US can escape unhurt from China nuclear retaliation. DF-17 is non interceptable. It's path is unpredicted and flies at mach 6-7 in the final terminal phase.

DF-41 throws 10 warhead at you and not to mention few DF-41 throw at same target. It is impossible to intercept all warhead.
