Why this is Taiwans AIZ (Air Identification Zone) makes little sense to me. China has all the right to fly in this area without Taiwan making a big deal of this, nor requiring Chinese planes to identify themselves.

The US has already successfully demonstrated a near ICBM ranged hypersonic strike weapon at Mach 17 with the LRHW Dark Eagle.

China doesn’t have the ability to overcome US overmatch capabilities, much less when it’s integrated with Japanese/Aus/Taiwanese forces.
