Look at the official statements from both countries, NEITHER side mentioned anything about a road.

Which means, by withdrawing their soldiers, India is depending on China's "good will" to stop building the road. Which worked out so well with CPEC and the South China Sea.

I don't know...but think reasonably, there must be some trade-off for sudden Indian withdrawal...or may be they did withdraw unilaterally...! situation is not clear yet in my opinion

What trade in? So means India can just go into any area not even disputed and extract concessions? This is not a Indo-Chinese dispute. If China allows this, US can just land in SCS island and stop Chinese missile work. Does it make sense?

Anyways, Doklam is a disputed territory between Bhutan and China and India supports Bhutan claim. India did not want China to change the status quo there and that is what has been achieved. The status has been restored to pre June 2017. Rest you can develop and design any methodology to hide from this shame that you were unable to bully even tiny Bhutan.
