Pakistan political pundits have sworn by 'somnath' perhaps, to maintain the provincial boundaries as intact as some sacred lines, come what may.
Pakistan has several basic structural but easily resolvable problems; four province syndrome is one of those.
Pakistan has made formidable progress no doubt if we compare it with Brahmin Bharat since partition. But the irony has been, that whatever progress we have achieved rather snatched, given the weird circumstances that progress has also protruded as mammoth problem, the nation has been facing.
Take the four province syndrome, for instance:
The entire population of the then West Pakistan was 30.5 million in 1947, now it's 200 million by the 'grace' of Mullah!
And due to swearing of our leadership lot, we have fixed the four provincial capitals; Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta as sacred centres!
Since powerful leaders are mostly happen to be from these power centres, hence every development of worth; Education Institutions, Hospitals, Roads, Security Bases, Law Enforcing Agencies, Intelligence Agencies, Airports, Sport Facilities, Forensic Laboratories, Railway Stations, Head offices of all the departments are kept concentrated into the four provincial headquarters along with all the resulting horrible hazards of assortment by compelling rest of all the people in all the provinces to visit these power centres for every petty pursuit. And this has virtually converted the four provincial capitals as well as the respective populations into four concentration camps in a way, given the unmanageability!
And so the progress we have achieved, has also emerged as problem sources and the entire population as the sufferer!!
The simple solution is, declare the original 22 divisions into 22 provinces!!!
