Bilateral ties reviewed with Turkish Navy commander
MUSCAT — Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), received in his office at Mu’askar Al Murtafa’ yesterday Admiral Recep Bulent Bostanoglu, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces, and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate. The meeting reviewed the march of the good relations between the RNO and the Turkish Navy and means of promoting them, in addition to exchanging viewpoints on matters of common concern particularly in the existing military naval cooperation between the two countries. The meeting was attended by senior RNO officers and the Military Attaché at the Turkish Embassy in Muscat.
Meanwhile, Lt Gen Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) received in his office at Mu’askar Al Murtafa’ yesterday the Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, cordial conversations and various viewpoints were exchanged. The meeting also discussed matters of common concern. Mohammed bin Nasser al Rasbi, Secretary-General at the Ministry of Defence also received here yesterday the Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, cordial conversations were exchanged and topics of common concern between the two sides were discussed. — ONA
