One of the most revered Mujahideen commanders of Herat has finally given up and surrendered to the Taliban. Ismael Khan a Tajik and member of the former Northern alliance never surrendered to the Taliban in the past. He has a huge following among the Dari speaking community of Southern Afghanistan.

Its obviously a surrender but reports fighters locked in him in room and spoke for hours with him presumbley convincing him to join(give up)

Instead of old days hanging from pole seems talis are doing things abit different for now atleast

Its hard to beleieve they will not hang such a brutal warlord

Islamic revival started the day the whole World yes including Muslim World attacked Afghanistan!!

its a victory we should glorify tell stories to our kids that no matter the size of Enemy if you have faith in Allah and are on right part Allah will bless you with victory!!!

but sadly still snakes in Muslim world are not glorifying this great victory! but Allah will spread the msg and unite the Muslims insha Allah!

we have to look beyond our petty border and work together work for unity and become strong!
