CNN: Why the US would never win a trade war with China

No "gora" can ever be bought and paid for? Do you even know what Invesco is?....mr "imma call gary to listen if hes really chinese...and get my *** handed to me"

Yah, when it's something positive on China, it's always bought. Didn't realize CNN was pro China? :D. Is Gary your daddy? So whenever you have nothing to say, you invoke Gary your daddy? What a typical Appu.

The author clearly has no consideration on what her investors want to hear. She will get far more subscribers and funds if she writes a China collapsing story. Or maybe she just doesn’t care with 1tr fund under her watch :woot:

LOL I love the American argument, that America is already drowning in the world's largest debts and deficits and that nothing they do could make it worse, since as Donald Trump said, the USA has already lost on trade. Therefore, there is nothing else to lose.

Funny how having the world's largest deficits and debts is supposed to be some kind of advantage.

Well guess what, you still have a lot to lose, which is why despite Trump's constant boasting of nuclear war, he still hasn't put the finger on the button. A 600 lb fat lardass sitting on the couch may think he has nothing left to lose, until he thinks about it more clearly. And he in fact does still have something left to lose.

Just wondering if anyone actually knows what Invesco does and their underlying performance (and thus bias on the issue). But carry on if you don't.

Look and analyze the content and rationale/logic behind her arguments if you are capable. Or simply look at who are the writer if you are not competent enough :enjoy:

There is literally no content there. Just repeated surface talking points...and CNN just writes the article and gets a paid sock muppet to rubber stamp it.

Not one number of say what is China's effective excise tax rate vs US tariff on it now (for the largest % goods in the trade) to compare the leverages on offer. Because such paid muppet people (again if you bother to spend just 5 minutes on Invesco's history and focus) but especially their handlers.... know those numbers are very uncomfortable for them....and deeper down their paychecks and reputations are based on deflecting from that.

I am avoiding the forum as of yesterday. I really hold my sensibilities precious. ;)

Chinese economic numbers are a read for themselves. I would not like to comment anymore on this

lol, once again, talking to a wall is not a good habit.

People can write whatever they want on the internet. That is the name of this game. But people need to remember that people who write article on the internet is not the same people who are in charge of a country.

Well, you want to buy in US never can win a trade war with China? That's your point, but reality is, it was China who is negotiating with the US, not the other way around, and slight news from trump, good or bad, have a deep impact on the Chinese stock market, and those things don't lies.

Frankly the real talk on the issue lies elsewhere....its just mostly time waste here.

Chinese economists need to figure out how to create a flourishing closed economy.
Why does Ch8ma need to do that?that will kill Chinas economy. Much of the rest of the world likes trading with China this would be like China shooting themselves in the foot.

investors do not invest money in mutual funds if there is a collapsing china story

Yes, invoke the GODS. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Expecting China to lose a trade war and collapse is as absurd as thinking China will win a 'trade war'. Nobody wins in a trade war, ultimately it will lead to negotiations, do some critical thinking, not your usual CNN fed ideas.
