CNN reporter got arrested by the police in Beijing

What this idiot forgets is that resisting police orders can land you in Jail. In the US it would be considered resisting arrest and your rear end would be thrown in Jail.

Check how the US police officers just beat up a 84 years old Chinese man from Taiwan or Hong Kong.

This is still nothing, they even beat up their own WWII veteran.

US is practically being controlled by those lawless bankers and corporates who can do whatever they want.

. .
For nothing?

Apparently some people feel it is ok to waltz in front of oncoming traffic and expect them to slam on the brakes and stop.
Unfortunately this has led to 3 people being killed at a certain block of intersections in 9 days by vehicles that couldn't stop.

So cops sat there telling people to cut it out. Unfortunately this guy (since he couldn't understand english) ended
up causing an incident.

You cannot help but to notice the on going intellectual dishonesty the Chinese members here. He posted only parts of the news. Too much of a chickenshit to post all of the news.

. .
This is in China, if you don't respect its law, then be prepared to get arrested and deported.

China's police is already very civilized and nice, if it was the US police, the guy would probably get shot.
So what laws were the reporters breaking?

. .
Not following directions of state police and carrying camera in prohibited zone . Isn't that supposed to be enough.
The reporter said they were in public area. But since we are dealing with a dictatorship, we can be sure that laws in such will be arbitrary and capricious. Am sure you approve.

This reporter intentionally went there to make news rather than report them.

The reporter used forceful body contacts again the polices to break thru police line after he refused to listen to their orders and resisted arrest afterward.

Like many have said, if he have done the same thing in the free and democratic USA he would have been tackled , tasered or worse.

The capriciousness here is that the Chinese government does not like the reporting of the trial, not just by foreigners but also by Chinese reporters. Why not? But we already know why. So from that perspective, anything any reporter can do will go against 'the laws'.

In the free and democratic USA, YOU would have been allowed to report on the trial.

@gambit, Americans can do anything in your native country even violate your public law and of course you vietnamese are hopeless against the Yankee anyway since the Vietnam war but they don't try to fck with us in China. our Police represent law and order, they were nice to just ask him leave but this retard decide to trespass the limit that polices have tried to warn him...he deserved to get nailed.
